Grade is *NOT* King 👑 This is possibly the biggest myth in #resources #investing. Grade helps, but the true King is profitable extraction. Profitable extraction is: ·     Grade ·     Size ·     Depth ·     Commodity price (incl. stability and current pricing cycle) ·     Cost to process ore (flowsheet) ·     Access to markets ·     Jurisdictional approval ·     Ability to raise capital or build a plant (capex) ·     Access to workforce ·     Access to water, energy and transportation Let me illustrate with an absurd example. Would you rather 1kg #gold/tonne (on Pluto) or 0.3% #copper (in NSW, e.g. Cadia)? Investing for grade discovery can be lucrative, but be aware discovery investing is the left-hand side of the #Lassonde curve. Artemis Resources (ASX:ARV) Ltd (AIM:ARV, OTCQB:ARTTF) is about to get boots back on the ground in the quest for #lithium at its 100%-owned West Pilbara tenement areas in Western Australia with ground reconnaissance including rock chip and soil sampling. The focus will be on Karratha Lithium Project tenements adjacent to the Osborne JV between Artemis and GreenTech Metals and less than 20 kilometres from Azure Minerals’ Andover Lithium Project which has a conceptual exploration target of 100-240 million tonnes at 1.0-1.5% lithium oxide (Li2O). Artemis’ technical team has identified several areas of interest that were not quantified through previous exploration efforts.
