What an incredible start to our FY25 - 1st quarter #HROD all-hands meeting at Jacksonville Transportation Authority ☺️ Our Human Resources and Organizational Development team came together under the inspiring theme of "Fixed versus Growth Mindset." It was a day filled with insight and empowerment. We explored how embracing a GROWTH mindset is essential to overcome adversity and failures. By fostering this attitude, we continue to forge our path to greatness and success as a team. The lively discussions, interactive session, and shared stories resonated with everyone, reminding us all to be open, to learn, and to thrive together. It's this mindset that paves the way for innovation and resilience. A heartfelt thank you to each of you who have contributed to our positive and dynamic culture. Celebrating our team's anniversaries was a highlight, including my own three-year anniversary at JTA. 🎉 Time truly flies when you're part of a dedicated and passionate team! A special thank you to our Executive #LEADER Cleveland Ferguson III, J.D., D.H.L. for taking time out of his busy schedule to join the team…it was truly appreciated! The best #conversations happen when the setting is just right, stated best selling author Carl Honoré.That might be inside a car or on a hike, or even on a train. In the right setting, the conversation just flows. You take your time. You open up. You go deep. Author Geoff Hudson-Searle had a meaningful conversation with Heather Donaldson across #trust and The Trust Paradigm. “Trust has always been a main driver to succeed in business…trusted companies have more loyal customers, lower employee turnover, higher revenue and profitability, and higher market value. Also, higher levels of trust result in lower costs of doing business. Not least because trust makes customers recommend your company… …In addition, trust fosters cooperation among colleagues and increases commitment to the organization.” Trust is the basis for almost everything we do. It’s the foundation on which our laws and contracts are built. It’s the reason we’re willing to exchange our hard-earned paychecks for goods and services, to pledge our lives to another person in marriage, and to cast a ballot for someone who will represent our interests. It’s also the input that makes it possible for leaders to create the conditions for employees to fully realize their own capacity and power. So how do you build up stores of this essential leadership capital? By focusing on the three core drivers of trust: authenticity, logic, and empathy. Like Heather, you can order your copy of the book on all formats #Amazon: #audible #hardback #kindle #softback https://lnkd.in/eAmH8nD9 Or visit #TheTrustParadigmBook website: https://lnkd.in/gSqAPg7c https://lnkd.in/ehzeWnf6
While commuting home on the train last week, I had an unexpected yet delightful encounter with Geoff Hudson-Searle . After his loud phone call almost made me jump out of my skin we struck up a conversation that led to him generously giving me a copy of his book, The Trust Paradigm. Reading Geoff's book made me reflect on the importance of trust and purpose—principles that have shaped my experience over the past four months since joining Kubrick Group I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of a team that prioritises these values both internally and with our clients and partners. One quote from the book that truly resonated with me is: “If you aspire to become a leader, you also need to find an organisation that will accommodate your purpose because it’s only when we set sail on the right course with smart individuals that our purposeful journey, progress, and performance become so much more worthwhile.” As I take a break for a few weeks, it's great to know I’ll be looking forward to returning to my clients and the awesome FS team Ben Hayes Toby Enstone

Bring it on, Evel Knievel When I was eight, I owned a black Raleigh BMX Burner and dreamed of being Evel Knievel. My older brother, aka my “stunt planner,” had one job: to make sure my stunts went off without a hitch. We lived next to a steep hill that led to a construction dumping ground scattered with bricks and mortar—perfect for the daredevil event we had in mind. I was ready for the stunt of my life (back then, helmets weren’t part of the plan). Off I went, leaning in hard, swaying from side to side, momentum burning in my nostrils. Ahead, I saw what looked like a 40-degree angled ramp—and it was. That was as far as my BMX went. My bike stopped. I didn’t. Moments later, my “stunt coordinator” appeared, breathless, looking down at me with fear in his eyes, praying I was still alive. I was. He helped me pick up the bike, and we headed home for supper. That’s just how things went back then. Just because you can doesn’t mean you should. I’ve relived this moment many times in my life. During leadership meetings, I’ve charged forward without pausing to consider the consequences of my words and actions, leading my team headlong without realising the potential impacts; like my childhood stunts, these moments taught me the hard way: personal growth and success come when I choose balance over excess. True growth requires us to pause, consider the impact, and focus on thoughtful, intentional action rather than impulsive leaps.

🏆 A CULTURE OF EXCELLENCE doesn’t just happen—it’s BUILT!!!🏆 Seeing those championship banners in #Boston made me think: greatness isn’t a one-time achievement; it’s a COMMITMENT, a MINDSET, and more importantly... IT'S A WAY. OF. LIFE. 💪 For the Boston Celtics, Boston Red Sox, Boston Bruins, and New England Patriots, winning isn’t just a goal—it’s an EXPECTATION. 🥇 But here's the thing... a culture like that? It doesn’t happen overnight. 🌃 Those banners? They didn’t just appear on the walls—years of SWEAT, HUSTLE, and ❤️ put them there. 🗣️📣 It’s no different in #healthcare. Think about it: are we expecting, TALKING about, and celebrating EXCELLENCE for our clients and their teams? Are we pushing for the absolute best? That’s what separates a system that just “functions” from one that IMPACTS lives!!! 💥💥💥 TRUE excellence isn’t about being “the best” for a moment. It’s about creating a space where EVERYONE is driven to be the best ALL the time. And that’s where the magic happens: not critiquing, not punishing, but lifting each other UP to get closer to that win EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. 🙌🪄 But here’s the thing about CULTURE—it’s not just critiquing when things aren’t “right.” It’s about calling out the gaps and helping each other rise to the occasion because WE WANT TO BE THE BEST. And yes, we’ve got to CELEBRATE!!! 🎉🎊 We all know how to focus on what went wrong, but how often do we high-five the wins??? 🤜🤛 John Troutman 🧪, Rachel Strauss ⭐️, Patrick Moore, Braden Monaco, Spencer Allen, CPBS, James Blachek, Katie Anderson, Justin Burgess, Anthony Masotto, Deb Ault, Jordan Taradash, Jessica Brooks Woods, Chris Deacon, 🎙Spencer Smith, CSFS®, Allison De Paoli, Dave Chase, Health Rosetta-discovering archaeologist, Sims Tillirson Healthcare’s got enough CRITICS—what it needs are CHAMPIONS. What do YOU do to celebrate the wins? 👊🏅

A Journey to Success with Lysander Gloria Attending Sir Sandy's presentation was truly an inspiring experience. He shared his success story in a way that resonated deeply with me, highlighting three key points that made a lasting impression. Firstly, Sir Sandy emphasized the importance of honoring one’s roots. He began his presentation by expressing deep gratitude for his parents, who had instilled in him the values that shaped his character and career. This heartfelt acknowledgment was a poignant reminder that our successes are often built on the foundational lessons from those who raised us, making it a touching tribute to his parents. Secondly, he showcased his team's contribution to his achievements. By displaying photos of his colleagues and expressing heartfelt gratitude for their unwavering support, Sir Sandy highlighted the crucial role of teamwork in personal and professional success. His recognition of their efforts not only underscored his leadership qualities but also his genuine appreciation for those who have supported him throughout his journey. Lastly, Sir Sandy advised us to be strategic and intentional in our decisions, stating, "Be a man with a plan, and the choices you make will determine the course of your future." This piece of wisdom served as a powerful reminder that our choices have significant impacts and that thoughtful planning can lead to successful outcomes. Although the session was held virtually from Davao, Sir Sandy’s ability to connect and inspire was unmistakable. Each point he made was delivered with clarity and passion, leaving a profound impact on everyone in the audience. His presentation was not just a lecture, but a motivational experience that encouraged us to reflect on our values, recognize our support systems, and be deliberate in our life choices. #HonorYourRoots #TeamworkTriumphs #PlanYourPath #AJourneyToSuccess #TeamEquiserve
