One of the most interesting parts of my conversation with Greg Bray and Kevin Weitzel was about how hard it is for someone to write copy themselves. And that’s not the first time I’ve heard it. I’ve talked with plenty of developers and designers who tell me their clients struggle to write copy for a new website. And I’ve spoken to business owners who try to write about their own businesses and struggle through the process.  I believe this frustrates some people. They think writing about themselves or their company should come easily to them. I write every day for a living and it’s hard for me to write the copy for my own website. Writing about yourself and your business is really difficult, even for people who do it professionally. During this part of the episode, we talked about how to approach writing copy for your own site and the things you can do to make it not only easier for you but more effective in connecting with your audience.
