A patient's perspective often provides a different, and sometimes an improved, understanding and insight into a medical condition. As a medical practitioner, I have noticed that it's easy to get carried away by a disease condition and forget the actual patient - their emotions, thoughts, and perception of what they are dealing with. But that should not be the case. This can also happen in clinical research. Clinical research goes beyond labs and numbers. It's about real people who choose to participate in trials to make a difference in healthcare. Participants in trials are more than statistics; they are individuals with stories, hopes, and courage.
