🏃♀️ Let’s Run Together for a Cause That Matters! 🏃♀️ On April 6th, BCS will be running the Milan Marathon with the AC Milan Foundation to make a real difference in the lives of visually impaired young people. Together, we aim to raise funds to donate a minibus to the Gruppo Sportivo Dilettantistico Non Vedenti Milano ONLUS, a sports club dedicated to empowering blind and visually impaired youth through sports and activities. This minibus will be a lifeline for these incredible individuals, helping them travel to training sessions, competitions, and community events—giving them the freedom and opportunity to pursue their dreams. But we can’t do this without your help! 💪 Every contribution, big or small, brings us closer to this goal. Together, we can turn our steps into a meaningful impact. Let’s show that kindness has no limits and everyone deserves the chance to chase their dreams. 👉 Donate now and be part of this incredible journey! https://lnkd.in/gHiZk6QE Thank you for your generosity and support. Together, we can make a difference!

Alberta’s government is proud to support non-profit organizations who do so much to help building vibrant communities in all corners of the province. Crowdfunding Alberta is a proven platform that makes it easier for Albertans to give and for non-profit organizations across the province to raise donations. Since launching in 2021, 205 non-profit organizations have used Crowdfunding Alberta to raise $1,044,316 in support of their programs. In 2023 alone, almost $500,000 has been raised in donations, making it the most impactful year yet. Additionally, changes made in 2023 make it easier for non-profits to unlock provincial match funding, with Alberta’s government now matching 50 per cent of funds raised by an eligible campaign up to $5,000 annually. As a result, Alberta’s government contributed almost $150,000 in funding in 2023. I encourage all Albertans to visit crowdfunding.alberta.ca and donate to a cause they are passionate about.

I've gotten 0 donations in the last 3 weeks. $100 Was donated to me, and then I sold a painting for $50. This was back in May. That painting had a twenty dollar frame around it, so I only made thirty dollars off of it. the hundred dollars was given to me free and clear. The other money that I raised by gofundme was $195. it was $220 but I had To pay fees on that money to pull it out. about 2200 or 2100 now. Bank did not add all deposits. $950 is due for rent 750 out. about 1500 left.. credit card is $95 minimum. $125 payed usually. 1375 - 290 car tags $1075 -80 gas in vehicle by 7/5 my phone bill is at risk! >>> I have 2. plus: If you are doing some kind of crazy crowdfunding and you want me to pay you to help me raise the money for this. You got another thing coming. You need to step away. I will report you to LinkedIn if you are asking me to pay you money. I don't have the money to pay anyone so you need a backup off of this right now. Because I don't have time for bs crowdfunders that are looking to make money off of me. I'm asking for donations and that's the only thing I'm asking for I need help. I don't need to pay people to help me for crowdfunding. I'm sick of it. Click on the linkm. . If you want to donate to me if you don't have money, then don't leave a Stupid comment leave go away, leave me alone.. I will block anyone That sends me a message about crowdfunding. I need help. I have my gofund.me page up abd the update on my linkedin profile https://gofund.me/d9cdda34

As most of you know, we have been looking for a new site for Change of Scene for the last four years. Last year, we thought we'd found a suitable premises in West Sussex. We applied for planning permission and were about to sign a long lease with an option to buy when we were told about some restrictive covenants on the land. With that news, our plans turned to dust. We now have until Easter 2025 to find our new home - if we cannot, the charity will have no choice but to close. We will have a year to make sure the children have somewhere else to go, rehome the animals and make staff redundant. Change of Scene will shut in June 2026. To make sure that doesn't happen, we have 3 months to raise enough money to purchase a new site. This is a tough ask, but we want to give it our best shot. We'd be grateful for anything you can do to help. A few ideas are: 1 - Donate to our Crowdfunding page - https://lnkd.in/eginuwmV 2 - Share the link to our Crowdfunding page with everyone you know and ask them to support us 3 - Fundraise for us - maybe you could do a sponsored event or a bake sale. We will do everything we can to make sure Change of Scene continues not only for your young people but for all those needing help who come after them.

One of our Directors, Mary Delaney, is taking part in the Wilmslow Triathlon this coming Sunday and hoping to raise some start up funds for Neuro In Nature CIC in the process. The triathlon involves a 400m swim, 24km bike ride and 6.4km run. Donations can be made via this crowdfunding link 🔗 https://lnkd.in/eJnhCzH8 As a not-for-profit, any monies raised go directly towards growing our service for people living with long term neurological conditions, and their families. Here's some examples of what any funds raised will help to pay for; ⭐️ £10 will fund snacks and refreshments at one of our nature based therapy sessions, £20 would fund slightly fancier snacks at a session ⭐️ £20 would fund a free space on one of our sessions for someone living with a long term neurological condition. ⭐️ £40 will pay for site hire for a 3 hour session, at our current location for many of our session, in Philips Park, Prestwich. This money goes to another CIC already in place doing nature based work there. ⭐️ £100 will allow us to buy four heart rate monitors, which we can then use to measure heart rate variability in participants in our sessions. This is an indicator of overall wellbeing and a good outcome measure of the impact of our sessions. By measuring this we can begin to contribute to the research evidence base for nature based therapies. ⭐️ £250 would fund a Family Forest Therapy session, allowing us to pay forest school practitioners to work with children of our clients, while we support parents living with long term neurological conditions, and provide a space for positive parenting experiences in nature. Any donation, however small, would be gratefully received, to help get our social enterprise off the ground 🌳💚

Tomorrow our team members Raymond Soares and Stuart Stevenson are taking part in the Quintessentially Foundation Bike Ride from Lake Zurich to St Moritz including climbing the iconic Furka Pass. They are taking on this challenge to raise money for The Firefly Project, a child poverty initiative from Quintessentially Foundation. Raymond and Stuart will be cycling 350km, climbing over 7,500m (that is the height of 25 Eiffel Towers, 16 Empire State Buildings, or 9 Burj Khalifa's!!) across one of the highest mountain passes in Switzerland. If you would like to show your support with a donation please follow the link below to donate: https://lnkd.in/ebjU-HRD Quintessentially Foundation is a charitable foundation set up to tackle child poverty and the limitations it places on the futures of children and young people. They do this by finding, funding and supporting small frontline charities well-positioned to make a big difference. Small frontline charities often have some of the best solutions to society's biggest problems. However, they are often overlooked and underfunded. So, through their flagship programme, ‘The Firefly Project', they scale their charity partners’ successful interventions for young people, tackling child poverty in all forms, by providing the charities with: • Unrestricted funding - so that the partner charities can invest in increasing their internal capacity and prepare for growth. • Tailored organisational support – ensuring they develop the proper infrastructure for their model to increase the number of young people they support and optimise the quality of their impact. • Untapped networks and connections – so that they can have more supporters amplifying their cause and, most notably so that they can continue to grow sustainably once funding ends. Every donation counts no matter how big or small. Thank you so much for the support!

When a crisis arises, it’s natural to want to help—however scammers are out there looking to take advantage of the generosity of others by posing as legitimate charities or creating fake crowdfunding campaigns. It’s important to double-check where your money is going to ensure your funds reaches those who need it most! Here are some tips to protect yourself against 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗱𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗺𝘀: 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗳𝘆 𝗕𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: Always check the legitimacy of charities through trusted resources like Charity Navigator or GiveWell. If you are planning to make a donation, avoid sending cash or using unverified online platforms. 𝗔𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗱 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘀: If the donation link your using leads to a personal account instead of an official charity page, do not donate! Nearly nine acres, home to thousands of businesses, have burned to the ground. Kantamanto is dense. In many parts it is crowded. Aisleways are narrow and, in parts, quite maze-like. For an infrequent visitor it was easy to get lost amid the flurry of clothes hung from the wooden stall posts, the buzz of sewing machines connected by loose wire, and the people hanging out as community, kids raised by aunties across the market, brothers and sisters in family and business. Today, you can see straight through. But the whole market is more than nine acres. Kantamanto is a community and the market will be rebuilt because the market is the people. We are endlessly grateful for the support that has been directed to Kantamanto from all around the world. Some people have donated money. Some people have offered their time. Some people have given their voices. Each in our own way supporting one another. We are moved by the generosity of a global community, and we are already putting these resources to use. There is a long way yet to go. Additional funds raised through this weekend, from now until midnight on Sunday the 5th, will be matched up to a total of US $50,000 by gracious donors. If you are in a position to give, you can double your impact by contributing now to help rebuild the market and to sustain the Kantamanto Community through this crisis. You can donate via: Momo: +233(0)559852625 Donorbox: kantamanto.theor.org This funding will be dispersed according to the expressed priorities of market leadership. Resources are needed to rebuild + resources will be needed to keep individuals afloat physically, financially & spiritually. If you know anyone who was injured or who has been in the hospital, please DM us so we can offer support.
