Great report by Houser, Henry & Syron LLP on declining productivity and addressing productivity challenges. I found the following particularly relevant to commercial real estate:
-participating CEOs and Founders were nearly unanimous in their view that talent issues were creating the greatest challenges for their organizations
-every single CEO and Founder interviewed almost immediately noted deep concerns about talent
-they are investing in talent development and retention strategies
-challenging to motivate and retain their younger workers in particular
-many also say that the growing preference for virtual working (particularly amongst younger workers) is putting downward pressure on productivity
-we are seeing significant effort being placed on workforce strategy, talent management and skills development
-offering in-office perks and finding ways to make the office more accessible
-number of leaders focused on 'right-sizing' their operations
Declining productivity is on the minds of CEOs & founders. Leaders are exploring opportunities & strategies to address productivity challenges. Read Houser, Henry & Syron LLP 2024 Mid-Market Report @ https://bit.ly/3Zqk18c. #CEOsSpeak
