Hello and welcome. I'm Summit, and let's understand the power of franchising, which makes it the preferred route to expand or grow a business. Of the many advantages that franchising offers, the one that stands out to me that a brand can grow from one store to multiple stores across the country or the globe without investing in them. And this can be proved with just one example. At its peak, Subway had more than 40,000 stores across the globe. But do you know how many of those? Course work, company owned? Guess a number. If the number you guessed is 1, then you are right. Yes, Subway has only one company owned store and it is the same store from where they started franchising. Rest of the Subway stores are owned by the franchisees. Agreed that the success of Subway and other brands depend on multiple factors which you will understand in the future videos.
