I want to thank Business Group on Health for recognizing the well-being strategy and programming we built in 2023 with the Best Employers Excellence in Health and Well-Being Award for 2024. Even though I left my role, I would be remiss to not mention how much work Christina Taddei, MPH, RDN and Milan Rathod put in towards implementing our well-being strategy. A well-being strategy is only as good as the execution, and you two are the best in the business! From day one, we said we would never do "check the box" well-being and am super proud that we never did! Well-being is a strategy, not a benefit. Well-being is not a solo sport and cannot live siloed in one function. Well-being is a byproduct of compassionate leadership and psychosocial safety in the workplace. I look forward to continuing to make work more sustainable for humans and businesses alike. About six in 10 employers have a globally consistent well-being strategy, with another 18% planning to develop one in the near future. This is according to the 15th Annual Employer-Sponsored Health and Well-being Survey which was fielded by Business Group on Health and Fidelity Investments in 2024. A full 70% of employers report that the biggest challenge in implementing a global strategy for well-being was employee needs differing by country. https://okt.to/WogYIR
