🌱 Absolutely LOVE that the City & Guilds conduct such a wide-ranging annual survey on neroinclusivity in the workplace, it makes a real difference on helping employers to understand the value of a neurodiverse workforce and how best they can engage with neuroinclusive practice - and it's brilliant to have earned a credential for my small part in this too 😊 What is the credential about? Well... Earners of this credential have pledged their support for neuroinclusive workplaces. They support the view employers should encourage neurodiverse job applicants, adapt their hiring process, and support neurodiverse employees to achieve their potential by embracing different types of minds. Through sharing this credential with their networks, they are raising awareness and contributing to building equity in the workplace.

Whilst there has been growing awareness on neurodiversity in the workplace, the findings from the second Neurodiversity Index highlights that many employees with neurodivergent conditions are not receiving the support they need resulting in them missing work and over a third not getting the reasonable adjustments they need in the workplace. However there are signs of gradual shift with employers making adjustments at interview stage by sending out questions in advance, providing training on neuroinclusion for employees and making adjustments to the workplace to make it more neurodiversity friendly. As we start Neurodiversity Celebration Week, use this as an opportunity to take stock of your HR policies, review existing workforce data, address any gaps in the data and consult with employees to better understand their needs and make any adjustments to enable employees with neurodivergent conditions to thrive. 📧 For latest insights, events and news, sign up to my newsletter https://lnkd.in/efp999U7 https://lnkd.in/e7fHBaCj
