As healthcare continues to evolve, we’re witnessing powerful innovations that are reshaping patient care. This article (and video) highlights how Mass General is addressing ER overcrowding by providing healthcare in the home. Enabling care at home for everyone is Best Buy Health’s north star. Through hospital-at-home programs, patients can receive acute-level care with the comfort and convenience of being at home, supported by a team of healthcare professionals. For health systems, this approach not only alleviates pressure on emergency rooms but also provides a more personalized, patient-centered care experience. It’s a win-win for both hospitals and patients. At a time when capacity is a critical issue, solutions like these are essential. The future of healthcare will undoubtedly involve more hybrid care models, blending traditional hospital care with in-home services. Congrats Heather O'Sullivan MS, APRN, Stephen C. Dorner, MD, MPH, MSc, John E. Campbell and the entire Mass General Brigham Healthcare at Home team! #HealthcareInnovation #DigitalHealth #HospitalAtHome #PatientCare #HealthTech
