In Pakistan, it has unfortunately become a trend for software houses to offer incredibly low salaries. These companies profit immensely from the hard work of their employees, yet they only pay them around 20,000 to 30,000 PKR. Can anyone realistically sustain themselves on 20,000 to 25,000 PKR a month? Even a day laborer working eight hours a day can make at least 40,000 to 50,000 PKR a month.It is a grave injustice that someone who has dedicated 16 years to their education is offered such low wages. Companies need to have a conscience and understand that fair pay results in motivated and productive employees. Unfortunately, companies exploit the high unemployment rates by offering meager salaries and demanding work worth millions. This is a disgraceful practice.A friend of mine, despite having 16 years of education, had to leave his job due to illness. Upon returning after six months, the best job he could find paid only 12,000 PKR. Who is responsible for this dire situation?
