In celebration of my 6-year journey with Amador Club / Wingtip, I'm taking a moment on the 6 days leading up to my anniversary on June 6th to reflect on some cherished projects and aspects of my role. For the first post, I want to kick things off by shining a spotlight on the team. Personally, there's nothing more fulfilling to me than making people feel seen and celebrated, which is why this aspect of my job holds a special place in my heart. Here's how we make it happen: 🖥️ TEAM PAGE: Our website features a dedicated page that showcases every member of our team. I'll never forget the gratitude expressed by someone who reached out via our inquiry form, expressing how much they valued seeing everyone, from front of house to the back of house. Every member of the team helps make this organization run and deserves to be recognized and celebrated. 📱 #WEAREWINGTIP: Through social media posts and newsletter write-ups, we highlight our team members and the things that make them unique. The focus is more on who they are as people instead of their resume. Here you might find their go-to karaoke song or a story on their most memorable meals. Because as we know and acknowledge, we are more than our jobs. ✏️ HANDWRITTEN NOTES: The power of a handwritten note remains unparalleled. While some may dismiss it as cheesy, there's immense value in the simple act of acknowledging someone's birthday or expressing gratitude for their contributions. It's these small gestures that can truly brighten someone's day and foster a sense of belonging within our team. As I look back on these moments, I'm reminded of the incredible bonds that unite us. Stay tuned for more reflections as I continue this countdown to my anniversary! #workanniversary #culture #team

We’re sharing what brings joy outside of work to Adriana, our Director of Purpose and Programs — pickleball! At the start of the year, Adriana set two New Year's resolutions: to be more active both physically and within her community. Joining a local rec league for pickleball helped her achieve both goals efficiently. Pickleball has quickly become her passion and by scheduling her pickleball sessions and placing them on her work calendar, she creates soft time pressure that helps her wrap up her workday and make time for activities that recharge her. Adriana’s experience is an example of how we actively strive to implement the concepts we teach, and support one another in following through. All of our courses encourage the use of a concept called “What Helps You Show Up At Your Best” - a way to find personal activities that prioritize effective recharging which ultimately results in better performance at work. We believe that supporting personal passions helps bring our best selves to our professional roles. What activities help you recharge and show up at your best? Share your thoughts in the comments.

Elevate Your Game: The Pickleball Principle in Business Just as in pickleball, success in business relies on choosing the right partners and fostering a supportive environment. Here's how to apply the 'Pickleball Principle' to your professional life: #SelectYourATeam In pickleball, your partner can make or break your game. Similarly, in business: - Surround yourself with talented, motivated individuals - Seek out mentors and peers who challenge and inspire you - Build a network of diverse skills and perspectives #SupportYourSquad A great pickleball partner has your back on the court. In your career: - Be the colleague everyone wants on their team - Offer encouragement and constructive feedback - Celebrate others' successes as if they were your own #BetheGameChanger In pickleball, one strategic shot can turn the tide. In your professional life: - Look for opportunities to make a significant impact - Be ready to step up when it matters most - Remember that your contribution could be the tipping point for success By applying these principles, you're not just playing the game – you're changing it. Surround yourself with greatness, be a pillar of support, and position yourself to make that game-changing move. In business, as in pickleball, it's not just about who you are, but who you choose to play with. Make every interaction count, and watch your professional game soar to new heights. I have been very fortunate to have been surrounded by these peeps over the years. Thank you for bringing out the best in me!!!! Who knew networking could be this much fun?! 😄 Our Saltmarsh, Cleaveland & Gund teammates ditched the traditional boardroom for the pickleball court, and it's an absolute blast! 🙌🤩 Building better professional relationships while having a smashing good time! 🤝 Engaging in friendly matches, high-fives, and laughter, we're finding common ground beyond business talk. Pickleball brings out the competitive spirit, and we're loving every second of it! 📈🤝 Building strong connections is the name of the game – both on and off the court. It's incredible to see how this fun sport breaks the ice, fostering collaboration, and creating lasting bonds. 🏆🎾 Plus, we've got some serious talent in our midst! 🏆🎾 The games are intense, and the competition is fierce, but we're all cheering each other on, celebrating the victories and learning from the challenges. Don't miss the fun – join us for the next event and experience how play can power up your professional connections! 🤝🤩 #PickleballNetworking #BuildingConnections #FunAtWork #ProfessionalRelationships Cameron Webb; Carter Webb; Emily Sidor; Marc-Antoine Meyer de Stadelhofen; Ryan Valdez; Allie Muñoz (Jackson); Phillip Roney; Kendra Hoffman, SHRM-CP
