This was me at the start of my EdTech career. Meet a bunch of schools at an event ✅ Get their email addresses ✅ Follow up repeatedly asking them to book a meeting ✅ Did it work? No. I burned most of the leads. Schools love to 'window shop' - to see what is out there and what's new, and today I understand that school email marketing is all about how well you can engagement and nurture their interest. It's fine to ask schools to 'Book a Meeting,' there are always schools who are looking to buy right now, but over the past 15 years, my experience tells me that this is generally only about 10% of all the schools you'll meet.
