I help companies lead systemic change. I work with you to align your impact + business models, leadership, and teams to deliver results.
Are you interested in #futures #futuresthinking yet don't see yourself nor your point of view as being considered as the norm? Well maybe these *Women Who Future(s)* online events are for you. Saskia H. H. introduced me to this group, and the folx behind these events have intentionally designed 2 x 2 day online events that re-centers futures thinking within the greater context of #intersectionality, #diversity, #DEI, #language, and #embodiment practices. I'm most excited about the sessions on storytelling & Africanfuturism, interacting without words, and what Khayal & the Arabic language can bring towards futures literacies. I always get asked this question What made you create Agency Connection? My answer is always the same When I wanted to become a panel member Found no agency to help Eventually found my way I hardly met Black panel members Yet, Black children are over-represented in the care Others would ask how I did it I realised there was no clear path to panel roles So I created Agency Connection To make it easy for others to follow Ensure Black children and young people are represented One thing I realised is this Representation doesn’t always come pre-made So you become the change you want to see. As we celebrate International Women's Day Remember lasting change in equality, representation, and empowerment is a daily commitment and not one day a year gig. Thank you Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce for the feature #AdoptionAndFostering #IWD2024 #InspireInclusion #AgencyConnection #DEI #FosteringPanel #AdoptionPanel ❓What change do you want to see on your journey? Let me know in the comments. 🤍💛💙
🤝Join us throughout March to mark and promote International Women's Day, where we will be sharing a series of blogs that explore inspiring stories, provide useful tips and advice, and celebrate the achievements of women across Greater Birmingham 👩💼✨ Check out our first inspirational story from Agency Connection Ltd here 👉 https://lnkd.in/enDB-iR5

To my contacts with only 20 spaces to go can we see if we can get a few to sponsor some spaces at this event looking at Black women in policing led by Karen Geddes QPM BA (Hons) This conference in Birmingham will create an environment where Black women's talents, unique experiences, and perspectives are acknowledged, respected, and valued. They will discuss: - Why is there such a disparity of Black women in senior leadership roles compared to their white counterparts by reviewing and analysing data - How does this impact Black women and how can they be supported to survive and thrive in this workplace culture? - Does addressing racism and sexism include the experiences of Black women? - What are the implications and impact of a lack of Black women diversity for organisations such as the police? - How do we celebrate and give a voice to those Black women who have completed 30 years of service? Tagging a few people hoping you can share to your networks 🙏🏽. Sal Naseem FRSA Craig Pinkney Sayce Holmes-Lewis Annie A Gibbs Ayesha Fordham Dr Kelly Henderson CIHCM Sandra Pollock OBE MA

Thought Partner for Entrepreneurs and Professionals seeking clarity so that they can thrive. On the flip side, helping employers create more inclusive workplaces. Let's book a virtual chat!
RARE in-person speaking event coming up! About 15 years ago, a woman I worked with made compelling arguments about why attending International Women's Day (IWD) events was so important; which is a story for another day... Since then I've made a point of being present for at least one IWD each year. This year, I'm honoured to be one of the speakers at the Town of Gananoque's "Empowering Women in a DigitALL Age" IWD event. I'll be sharing success stories of women entrepreneurs who live and work in Canada. Because when you experience stories of people you can relate to, then you can imagine navigating your own path to success. The vast majority of my speaking gigs are delivered online, and limited to specific groups of people. While I rarely speak in public, I thoroughly enjoy the experience! Especially when people ask questions. I'm looking forward to returning to the beautiful and welcoming town of Gananoque, to share some of what I know, while learning from the fabulous speakers and guests. The Eventbrite link for this free 3.5 hour event will be in the comments! ------------------- A bit about me - I share tactics and strategies employers may choose to implement to create more IDEAL jobs. On the flip side, I love helping you create and discover your ideal jobs, by teaching strategies and tactics that you can use over, and over, and over, again. I invite you to start a Thought Partner chat, follow the link in my profile to book a virtual 30 minute chat or send me a direct message here. #ShareLearnThrive – when we share what we know, and learn from each other, we can all find ways to thrive.

Small Business Success Coach | Elevating Small Business Owners & Entrepreneurs to Create a Path to Six & Seven Figure Success
As a business coach I know the power of stepping into a never before experienced opportunity. Which, by the way, is practically everyday if you are a business owner. Often, one never knows what one will get. Yet, you have to step in to see what may come. That's what I did when I said yes to joining Women's Business League four years ago. I joined a networking group and boy, I got so much more. Along the way, founders Amy Pocsik and Melissa Gilbo have grown this "networking" group into so much more. Personally, I've been able to offer my money mindset workshop as an offering to the members, been in rooms with amazing successful, supportive business women, learned new skills through their education offerings, made many friends (one of whom I get to now partner with on this amazing new offering from Women's Business League), and had and have the pleasure of working with so many brilliant business owners to build and grow their business their way. When I said yes to joining never did I think that one day I'd be co-leading a fabulous new offering from WBL with Jennessa Durrani, my longtime accountability partner and friend. I am beyond excited and thrilled to be just saying that! You've heard jump and the net will appear, sure it will...and what else will appear? Well, that remains to be seen but one creates their own results by simply taking that first step. Isn't it time now for you to step into being a part of something greater than you ever imagined for yourself, your life, and your business? Just think, how great it will be when you look back and see all that has happened for you because you took that step! Let's get into momentum, and let's do it now.
New member benefit alert!!!! Join us for the Momentum Session, our new monthly offering led by WBL members Jennessa Durrani & Kim Ravida. These calls will have a monthly theme, small group breakouts, and provide thought provoking content to support you as powerhouse women in business. Sign up for our first Momentum session (Feb 29th @12pm) using the link below! https://lnkd.in/emV9EkMP

Project Manager | PMI CAPM | Turning vision into reality across sectors with tailored Project Management.
"Surround yourself with people who are only going to lift you higher". Networking is so important, especially if you want to be good at stakeholder management. I like to surround myself with people I can learn from. Whether it be project management skills (as someone always has a different approach or tool that's really useful), or an IT skill for my toolbox. Recently I've discovered a truly incredible networking support group that's available for all female project managers, or those starting their journey. Liz Hector and her team are holding webinars and Book Clubs, creating a great community of project managers, and peers you can learn from. Don't miss it on today's lunchtime webinar - details below 👇🏼 #projectmanager #womeninprojectmanagement
The Women in PM Network team is working hard to bring you thoughtful and relevant content. Look at what we have planned for you! See the links below to join our upcoming events.
