Sponsoring mass participation events is a unique opportunity for brands to create memorable experiences and forge personal connections. By supporting events that attract thousands, sponsors can engage directly with their target audience in an organic and meaningful way. Attendees often feel a positive association with the brands that support their favourite events, enhancing brand loyalty. When a company sponsors a marathon, for example, it’s not just about the logo on a banner; it’s about being part of a community’s journey and celebrations. This face-to-face interaction humanises the brand, turning it from a distant entity into a friendly, approachable partner in people’s aspirations and achievements. In my experience, the personal touch of event sponsorship often leads to stronger, more authentic relationships with clients. Being physically present at such events allows brands to have real conversations, understand customer needs better, and receive immediate feedback. It’s a great way to build rapport that goes beyond traditional advertising. In short, sponsoring mass participation events isn’t just a marketing strategy; it’s a way to connect deeply with people’s lives, spark joy, and make lasting impressions. Who else has noticed the power of event sponsorship in their marketing efforts? I’d love to hear your experiences! #EventSponsorship #CustomerEngagement #BrandExperience

How Brex Leveraged Creativity and Strategy to Maximize Event Sponsorship Impact Event sponsorship is a fantastic way for companies to increase brand visibility and engage with potential customers. However, simply sponsoring an event is not enough; it requires strategic planning and creativity to truly stand out. Brex, a financial technology company, offers an excellent example of how to make the most of event sponsorships. Brex's approach started with setting clear goals. They wanted to build strong relationships and expand their reach by connecting with audience members on a personal level. To do this, they got creative and made their sponsored presence engaging and valuable. First, they designed interactive booths and experiences that offered more than just information. For example, they set up recharge stations for attendees' devices, offering a practical service that attracted a steady stream of people. They also took the opportunity to share insights about their products in an informal but memorable way. Second, they carefully chose the events they sponsored. Instead of saying yes to every opportunity, Brex picked events that aligned well with their brand and target audience. This made sure they were speaking to the right people, making every dollar spent on sponsorship more effective. Finally, Brex used data to measure their sponsorship success. By tracking interactions and engagement during the event, they could see what worked and what didn’t, helping them refine their strategy for future events. Overall, Brex’s combination of clear goals, creative engagement, careful event selection, and data analysis turned their event sponsorships into powerful marketing tools. #EventSponsorship #MarketingStrategy #BrandEngagement #GTMNow #Brex Regards, Selcuk Aslantas RSS: https://buff.ly/3Sr4IYy

📣 2025 is Around the Corner—Make It the Year You Sponsor Events! With clients already planning their strategies for 2025, here’s why sponsoring events (in my opinion) should be at the top of your list: 🚀 1. Put Your Business in the Spotlight Sponsoring an event gives you instant authority and visibility in your industry. Instead of blending in with the crowd, sponsorships make you the attraction—no need to chase leads; they’ll come to you, eager to learn more. 🚀 2. Get Right in Front of Your Target Market Event organizers do the heavy lifting, pouring resources into attracting your ideal audience. Your role? Show up ready with eye-catching displays, polished materials, and a presence that draws people in. 🚀 3. Connect with New Clients, Customers, and Partners Events are a hotbed for new business. Not only will you meet potential clients, but you'll also connect with other vendors who share your audience but don’t compete with you. These relationships could be the start of valuable collaborations. 🚀 4. Offer a “Taste” of What You Do Stand out with free samples or exclusive trials. Creative, unexpected giveaways turn casual attendees into potential customers by letting them experience your product firsthand. 🚀 5. Gain significant ROI Traditional advertising can be costly; event sponsorship can offer a smart alternative. By investing as a sponsor, you’ll access hundreds of potential clients directly and get more 'bang for your buck'. When you leverage these opportunities, the return on investment can be limitless. 📣 Let 2025 be the year your business shines at the right events, connecting you with the right people and maximising your growth potential! #FinTechEvents #Sponsorship #LeadGeneration #BrandAwareness

According to the Business Events Council Australia, over 38 million people attended more than 429,500 business events across Australia in the past year alone. These events weren't just fleeting moments — they contributed a staggering $20.4 billion to the Australian economy, as the Australian Trade and Investment Commission reported. With such a significant impact, it’s no surprise that 81% of marketers view live events as crucial to their company's success. But how can you effectively measure the return on investment (ROI) of these events? Start by clarifying your event's goals: - What are you hoping to achieve? - How will you define success? - What data will help you track it? Utilise social media insights and CRM systems to monitor the impact of your event’s participation. Remember, ROI isn't solely about the number of leads or sales. It also encompasses brand awareness, customer engagement, and fostering long-term relationships. But that’s not all. Here's a key insight for those eyeing sponsorship opportunities: size isn’t everything. 74% of consumers are more inclined to purchase from a brand they’ve encountered at an event. Sponsors are seeking more than just logo placement. Focus on building valuable partnerships. Sponsoring an event is way more than just visibility — think about speaking opportunities, networking events, and content collaborations. Don’t forget to creatively promote your sponsorship before and after the event. Custom swag bags, social media shoutouts, and innovative promotions can make a difference. Ask Oksana Koriakova for memorable swag you can offer during the event, her stuff is talked about for years after the event is finished. If you want to raise your visibility in the APAC region this September, please ask me about the Singapore and New Delhi DigiMarCon - Digital Marketing, Media and Advertising Conferences & Exhibitions. I have a couple of booths left, but they are going really fast. If you want to be onstage with Adobe and Ahrefs, now is the moment to act. Your brand will thank you! 🚀 Picture: George Hawwa from Attention Experts delivers a brilliant Social Media masterclass in Sydney in August. #BusinessEvents #EventMarketing #ROI #Sponsorship #MarketingStrategy

Yesterday, I experienced an absolutely brilliant sponsorship & activation that I think every event organizer should steal... There's a small but mighty and growing marketing community called Exit Five, run by Dave Gerhardt and his team. They hosted a really neat virtual event on Tuesday, which apparently broke their all-time attendance record! The entire event was centered around having experts from their sponsors (and a few consultants) 'Roast'—but in reality, offer free consulting to anyone willing to submit their company. Obviously it was opt-in to get roasted, it was done with love and I think companies that got roasted also got tons of publicity for free. Any attendee could enter to win prizes from these sponsors and gain exposure to how these products and consultants work live. It was entertaining and incredibly educational. Super tactical, and no BS. I need to run a detailed query on our database, but my hunch is that less than 10% of conferences on the EventMobi platform have a sponsorship opportunity where they position their sponsors as experts during the conference and entice the audience to join in for a chance to win a giveaway from their sponsors! I know this doesn't work for every industry vertical or conference, but as an attendee I got tons of value, and I have never been so deeply exposed to sponsors. I think this format is way better than Sponsor Demos, or Case Study sessions where everything is choreographed and rehearsed. I'll post the link in the comments, not sure if the on-demand recordings are up yet. But you should skim it to see how it may work for your events. Who ever is looking for a new Sponsorship Opportunity at in-person or virtual events, should have a look this format. Great job Danielle Messler for MCing the 5-hour virtual event :) #eventprofs #sponsorship
