Me!! Since joining National Grid as VP Safety, Health & Environment for the New York business 3 years ago, I continue to be proud of our unrelenting commitment and passion for safety. As I reflect on my past 3 years at National Grid, I think about where we were then and where we are now. We have come such a long way!! I think about our journey to a generative #safetyculture; one where we continue to stretch our leaders to: ✴️think more creatively, ✴️behave more courageously and ✴️act more intentionally, about continuously improving worker and public safety. And how we continue to learn and grow from each other as we: ✴️work towards creating a 'safe to say', #psychologicallysafe work environment ✴️reinforce the importance of executive and senior leaders visibly supporting safety ✴️engage the entire workforce in safety, health and wellness across a variety of platforms ✴️arrest complacency and risk normalization - causal factors for many safety incidents Totally transforming safety in the NY business will require more hard, important, #BigWork and we're ready to the meet the challenge.
