Since September 1, 2018, I have been at DirectTrust as President and CEO - and the time has flown by.  As I take stock now, we have grown four times bigger by most measures. The number of Direct Secure Messages sent and received per quarter has gone from about 50 million to over 200 million.  Our network has grown from fewer than 1 billion transactions cumulatively, and recently passed 4 billion.  Our team is 4 times bigger, as is our annual budget. I am so proud of our accomplishments.  We became an ANSI accredited standards development organization, acquired SAFE Identity, and this year, merged with the Electronic Healthcare Network Accreditation Commission (EHNAC).  I have long made it clear to my Board that we wanted to pivot to a focus on TRUST while driving the use and usability of Direct.  Today we offer multiple services to our members and the industry including accreditation, HITRUST assessment and technical trust services for Direct Secure Messaging, Carequality, eHealth Exchange, and TEFCA.  We collaborate with the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC), CMS, HHS, WEDI , The Sequoia Project, CommonWell Health Alliance, Civitas Networks for Health, CARIN Alliance, and many more organizations as well as our members. Our membership today is extremely diverse beyond even the HIT companies, payers and providers in the healthcare sector to include app companies, social care organizations, and identity companies.   Our standards efforts include work to enable sensitive information exchange within the community even beyond healthcare. We are engaging with cloud fax vendors to establish standards for trustworthy exchange of data by fax. We are working with the remote online notaries to enable trusted communication of health documents.  We are building out new accreditation programs to improve trust in the consumer health application ecosystem to add to our portfolio of accreditations that assess compliance for nearly 100 healthcare companies large and small.  You should watch us, we are just getting started! Some dates are always special such as today, the date when we launched Silver Talkies Club six years ago in 2018, based on the inputs from attendees of our events. They wanted to meet more often, know their co-participants better and have more fun and engaging opportunities. Hence Silver Talkies Club was born in a time and age when active ageing, loneliness and isolation among older adults were not spoken about or discussed much in our country. I was in fact told by many peers that I was playing in a small niche field. Fast forward to 2024, almost every new player in the senior care space is looking at addressing similar issues with similar models. Did we start too early or did they start too late? I think it is immaterial for as they say that all's well that ends well. What is most heartening for me is to note that in the pic below all the people who became members in 2018 are still members in 2024, with the exception of one member whom we lost a few months ago. Today marks my 🔟 anniversary at Exadel 🎉 This is a good time to reflect on why I am still here, even though sometimes I feel the urge for change. In these moments, I ask myself the following questions: - Do the company's values still match my own? - Is the company still growing? - Does my contribution still bring significant value to the company? - Does the company appreciate what I do? - Am I surrounded by professionals at a higher level that I can aspire to? - Are there people who benefit from my experience and expertise? - Is there a supportive environment here that believes in me? - Can I continue to gain new experiences here? - By working in this company, do I become stronger and more skilled both as a professional and as a person? And year after year, I get a "YES" to all these most important questions. Of course, like any company, there are challenges here, but they do not overshadow the benefits I see for my professional and personal growth. I am grateful for these 10 years and look forward to the future with optimism, expecting new opportunities and achievements 👐

7 years of Rapyder, what a journey it has been!! It was an overwhelming day yesterday!
