Yesterday francesca cormack, Nick Taptiklis and I met with Judith Jaeger & John Harrison, for Cambridge Cognition's final scientific advisory board meeting for 2024 (at #CTAD2024). There were 3 core topics: regulatory strategy, Digit symbol substitution task (DSST) validation and increasing quality: Regulatory strategy - As digital tools are used more and more by sponsors in phase 1 - phase 3, expectations for regulatory buy in have increased. We discussed our revised regulatory strategy with our SAB and will have some exciting announcements in the new year. Digit symbol substitution task (DSST) - We shared DSST (a task that we recommend as a global measure of cognition) data and discussed efforts for strengthening validation in different patient populations. Increasing quality - In the last year we launched AQUA, an automated QA tool for conventional neuropsychological assessments. At our SAB we discussed additional methods for increasing test administration and scoring quality. Stay tuned for future updates related to regulatory, DSST validation and quality!
