Today marks our 2 year anniversary. We’ve accomplished a lot in short period of time. The team continues to grow and come together. We’ve added so much from a capability standpoint. We are playing in some extremely interesting markets. Here is only a portion of a shipment that left our facility on Friday. 2 years ago we were a metal fab shop. Not anymore!

When we met Brad Porter initially, one of the things that struck us was how differently he was building a company in the robotics space. Brad was laser focused on getting product in the hands of customers - quickly! Today they announce that their first robots are live in a production setting. We believe deeply that winners in the current crop of full stack robotics companies will be those that focus on getting products in the hands of customers and rapidly iterating based on in-field learnings. More of my thoughts here on building a robotics business today: https://lnkd.in/dfxXAtPC

Excited to share we went live in production with our cobot last week! We’re moving industrial carts in a transload facility outside of Seattle. Last week we moved more than 25,000lbs of goods and over 20km of travel safely in and around humans. Excited for the partnership with you and your team Erez A.! Nothing quite as fun as being up and running!

Happy Manufacturing Day! MFG Day is celebrated on the first Friday of October each year, and it is dedicated to showcasing the significance of modern manufacturing across the U.S. It was established to correct common misconceptions about the industry and to spark interest in manufacturing careers among students, job seekers, and the broader public. On MFG Day, manufacturers nationwide open their doors for tours, demonstrations, and events, offering a behind-the-scenes view of today’s manufacturing. The aim is to show that manufacturing has evolved beyond outdated, manual labor—it’s now a cutting-edge, innovative, and sustainable sector that plays a critical role in our economy. At AMT, we see firsthand how manufacturing strengthens our community, creating well-paying jobs, fostering innovation, and driving economic growth. We’re proud to be part of a region with a long-standing history of manufacturing excellence. Today is about honoring that tradition while looking ahead to the future. As we mark this important day, let’s remember that the true strength of manufacturing lies in its people. By working together, we can build on this foundation and ensure that the Southern Tier remains a hub of innovation and opportunity for years to come.

Has anyone seen our kneecaps? At one point this year we were just 4-7 with no shot at the playoffs. Proud of how our Tampa Bay Buccaneers pulled together and got to the Divisional Round. However, the Detroit Lions played an amazing game all-around and the better team won. Congratulations to all of our customers and factory partners that were rooting for the Lions. They were the last one standing. --- Have you recently taken a loss in your manufacturing processes? Then you should register for TechFest to get back on the winning bandwagon. It's hard to believe that our family company will be celebrating its 80th Anniversary this year (Since 1944). The last 3 months have been a turbulent time in the Die Sets, Plate, Parallels, and Custom Fabrications market segment. We have seen a 100-year-old manufacture in this segment close their doors (Superior Die Set), and needless to say, this has caused a “ripple effect” through the 5 states we are Blessed to service (MO / IL / KS / IA / NE). But it is in these times of change, we (Lee Horneyer Company) felt it imperative to take a hard “look in the mirror” in the trust and value we are offering to our marketplace in this segment (Die Sets, Plate, Parallels, and Custom Fabrications). Lee Horneyer Company (Since 1944) is proud to introduce a company that is “that” (On time… As Promised… At a Cost In Line With Fair Market Value), but so much more…..
