Two years ago, I started working on an interesting project for my interior design thesis, which I completed in 2023.The topic explores the potential of adaptive reuse to transform urban voids—those neglected or abandoned spaces within cities—into vibrant and socially inclusive environments that contribute meaningfully to urban life. In this first part, I’m sharing the introduction and background study, which examines the causes, types, and impacts of urban voids. It highlights how these spaces, often overlooked, can be reimagined through design interventions to address social, economic, and spatial challenges. This section sets the stage for understanding the untapped opportunities within urban voids and their potential to redefine the urban fabric. This is just the first part! In the next sections, I’ll share how I approached this project, including case studies, design ideas, and solutions I developed to reimagine these spaces. Stay tuned for Part 2, and feel free to share your thoughts or ideas about transforming neglected spaces in cities! #InteriorDesign #ThesisProject #AdaptiveReuse #UrbanSpaces #UrbanInteriors

Taking a break is more than just a chance to relax; it's a powerful tool for boosting productivity. Stepping away from work, even briefly, rejuvenates the mind, sparks creativity, and enhances focus. In the fast-paced world of interior design and architecture, where innovation is key, these moments of rest are essential. At The Lantern (a unit of Agarsain Bath and Lights), we encourage our team to embrace breaks as a strategy for maintaining high performance and delivering exceptional results. Remember, a well-rested mind leads to more inspired and efficient work. #Productivity #WorkLifeBalance #Innovation
