How do we break down the barriers to STEM? 🔬 Inclusive classrooms: Teachers can create an environment where all students feel encouraged to participate in STEM activities, fostering a sense of belonging. 🧪 Early exposure to STEM: Programmes that introduce girls to science, technology, engineering, and math concepts in engaging ways from a young age can spark curiosity and confidence. 👩🔬 Mentorship programs: Connecting girls with women in STEM careers provides guidance, support, and showcases the possibilities in these fields.
