Now that we're 48 hours removed from it, I've taken some time to reflect on what Reality Defender winning "Most Innovative Company" at RSA Conference means to me. As someone who reads the news extensively, lives as a huge privacy/security nerd, and often tracks all things at the the intersection of news and (cyber)security, I've followed RSA Conference since early high school — well before I started obsessively using RSS feeds. To be a invited to RSA Conference is a dream. To be invited as a company to participate to in one of the most prestigious challenges in cybersecurity and win is unfathomable, to put it mildly. It's something I'm still trying to wrap my head around two-plus days later. As our Co-Founder and CEO Ben Colman writes, "The Innovation Sandbox judges’ decision is a profound validation of all the hard work and vision put forth by our growing team of experts." This win is not the win of any one person, but the efforts of the entire Reality Defender team. Because of our shared vision, our unity around our mission in using AI in ways that actually benefit humanity, and — most importantly — our endless collaborative innovations, we can full-throatedly call ourselves the most innovative (and, yes, award-winning) deepfake detection platform there is.
