At Newrez, we recognize the importance of supporting and empowering our employees to volunteer with non-profits and engage our local communities. Our employees in Houston participated in a recent Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) Walk Like MADD® event to support their coworker and Houston Community Council member, Kanika Sanders, who lost her son, Tristan Sanders, to a drunk driving accident. The MADD® Walk Like MADD® is a signature event from MADD® which fundraises and spreads awareness about the prevention of drunk driving. The Newrez volunteer team was recognized as a top donor!
