We're very excited to *officially* launch the Certified Training Restaurant (CTR) Program at California Pizza Kitchen! CPK has long prided itself on best-in-class training & people development. Like our peers, we navigated challenges faced over the last few years, banding together, and doing what was necessary to ensure our newly hired managers were prepared to lead the business. However, a brand that counts pride, passion, and California creativity as defining characteristics always has something new cooking up 😊 A nod to our past, crafted for our present, and designed to sustain us well into the future, the CTR Program ventures to create a supportive & informative training environment for Managers-in-Training (MITs) to learn key restaurant and leadership skills. Join us this week as we highlight the 15 locations across the U.S. who we are proud to call Certified Training Restaurants!

Worked for CPK in San Luis Obispo for 15 years until my store closed permanently during the pandemic. :( When I first started their training program was EPIC. They slacked off a bit toward the end of my career there, so I’m happy to see them getting back to “Rick and Larry” basics. :)
