Ai will replace SDR roles! Ai will take over outbound! Here's why the hype is nonsense. Do you call into Verizon customer care because you love talking to their automatic answering service? No. We are predispositioned against working with robots on that level, because you can't replace the ancestral need for human interaction. Communication is our way of life. No matter how adept Ai gets at holding a conversation, deception is still illegal in most cases. Inevitably, if a company is using Ai to prospect for them, the program will likely have to be upfront that you're talking to an Ai model and not a real person. At which point, most of us would just hang up. The same would apply to email prospecting. Agreed - there could be a point where AI replicates human emotion and tonality. I think AI is a supplement - especially when starting out. But building skills will always win!

1yWhile AI can augment outbound processes, human connection remains essential. Building trust and rapport with real people is irreplaceable. AI might assist with data analysis and personalization, but the human touch will always be vital in sales and customer interactions.
