Understanding the progression of Alzheimer's disease can help you and your loved ones prepare for each phase of this challenging journey. 1️⃣ Early Stage (Mild): Subtle memory lapses, difficulty with word-finding, and slight challenges in organizing tasks are common. Most people remain independent but may need extra support with complex activities. 2️⃣ Middle Stage (Moderate): This is typically the longest phase, where symptoms become more pronounced. Individuals may experience confusion, forgetfulness, mood swings, and challenges with daily activities. Increased support and care are often needed. 3️⃣ Late Stage (Severe): In this final stage, memory loss is profound, and individuals may lose the ability to communicate, recognize loved ones, and perform basic self-care. Full-time care is usually required to ensure safety and comfort. At Princeton Integrative Health, we’re committed to providing compassionate care and comprehensive support at every stage. Our integrative approach, including the Dr. Dale Bredesen method, aims to slow progression and enhance quality of life. Stay informed, stay prepared, and know that you're not alone on this journey. 🧠✨ #AlzheimersAwareness #BrainHealth #CognitiveCare #PIH #HealthHappensHere #PrincetonNJ
