“There’s Nowhere We Can’t Go” is a deep-rooted and contemporary story about the possibilities of the great outdoors. Our first Christmas campaign for Le Chameau taps into the Christmas walk, a ritual we all enjoy, championing this sacred time to reconnect with not only loved ones, but the world outside. Photographed and directed by Maria Lax, we capture a grounded story that's natural to each and every one of us in a digitally oversaturated world. We want to say a huge thank you to Maria Lax and Art Practice for helping us bring this to life. #LeChameau #Connection #GreatOutdoors #Christmas

'Galangoor djali, nara' 'Good day, welcome' While wandering through the Hervey Bay Botanic Gardens, I stumbled across this sign by a Butchulla elder, and found it so insightful. Their three laws for living are so simple: 1. What’s good for the land comes first. 2. Don’t touch what isn’t yours. 3. If you’ve got plenty, share it. It’s the kind of wisdom that makes you rethink how we live today. Imagine if we applied these to daily life: - What if every decision (big or small) considered what’s best for the environment first? - Don’t touch what isn’t yours: This isn’t just about stuff. It’s about respect—respecting people’s boundaries, their cultures, and even their time. It’s a reminder to tread lightly in every sense. - If you’ve got plenty, share it: Whether it’s knowledge, resources, or just a moment of your day, sharing strengthens community. It’s about looking out for each other, because we’re all connected. It’s a simple roadmap to live more thoughtfully and leave behind a legacy worth being proud of. The sign ends with a reminder: 'Wherever you go, leave only footprints'. That one’s going to stick with me for a while. #LifeLessons #IndigenousWisdom #ButchullaPeople #CulturalHeritage #RespectTheLand #CommunityValues #Holidays ALT TEXT: A vibrant sign at the Warun Bush Tucker Garden in Hervey Bay Botanic Gardens. In the fast-paced world of today, it’s easy to lose sight of the importance of giving back to nature. Yet, as Aldo Leopold’s Land Ethic reminds us, harmonious coexistence with the Earth is essential. It's a journey that starts with rekindling the spirit of reciprocity in our lives. Recently, my daughter’s wedding preparations opened my eyes to the possibilities of practicing reciprocity. By sourcing pre-loved décor through No Buy and Swap groups, we were able to minimize waste and appreciate the beauty of reusing items that might otherwise go to landfills. How can we all rekindle this spirit in our daily lives? Perhaps by supporting community-based management, participating in land-based Friends Groups, or advocating for the rights of nature. Let's shift our perspective from consumption to giving back. Together, we can embark on a journey toward ecowellness, nurturing the environment for future generations to thrive. This year’s Celebration of Creation brought so many beautiful milestones, and one of those milestones was seeing my wife and son create the Celebration of Creation video that showcases every piece of artwork submitted. Their work ensured that each artist’s talent was celebrated at our reception at Naples Botanical Garden. It’s a reminder of a powerful truth: you never know what someone can achieve until you give them the opportunity to shine. As we step into 2025, ANI is determined to show the world what’s truly possible when individuals and families are supported and believed in. It’s not just about creating opportunity —it’s about creating hope. By replacing fear, stress, and doubt with encouragement and support, we unlock a world of potential. When the energy shifts from “I can’t” to “I can,” incredible things happen. Let’s move forward together, changing perspectives and seeing people for who they truly are—not who we assume them to be. Together, we can build a world that embraces possibility and empowers everyone to thrive. #CelebrationOfCreation #SeeOurPotential #BelieveInUs #InclusionMatters #HopeAndOpportunity #AdditionalNeeds #ANI #Empower #Thrive

Less than a month to go if you fancy digging deep into the caverns of your/our minds. Drawing can be anything, placemaking can be anything, and how you define, expand, explore, philosophise this through practice research, through the key components of environment, history and identity, is boundless, and will have an impact on life (human, animal or plant) in some way: https://lnkd.in/e99B2gmw #drawingasplacemaking #environmenthistoryidentity #practiceresearch #expandeddrawingpractices #placemakingissociopolitical #universityofhuddersfield #ArtAndHumanities
