This project revealed how these drivers serve as the logistical backbone, connecting markets and ensuring the seamless movement of goods nationwide. Addressing their needs for flexible schedules, dependable payments, and streamlined job access highlighted the transformative potential of technology. Leading companies like Allcargo Logistics Ltd , Gati Limited, VRL LOGISTICS LTD, along with tech platforms such as RIVIGO, BlackBuck (Zinka Logistics Solutions Pvt. Ltd.), Trukky, TruckSuvidha, and Delhivery, are driving this change by leveraging digital solutions to enhance the logistics ecosystem. What inspired me the most was the concept of creating a product tailored specifically for this demographic. Had the opportunity of meeting Shri Ramesh Agarwal Chairman at Agarwal Packers and Movers Limited. Key takeaways from conversations I had with him: 1. Hard work: There is no substitute to hard work. With determination and vision we can achieve anything we desire. He has built the company from scratch and today it is the leader in the domestic transportation Industry. 2. Be humble : Success should not change your human nature. Be humble to everyone. I have always found him very simple and grounded. 3. Open to new ideas: Be open to new perspectives as you never know what can be the next big change which can happen through small changes for improving the customer experience. I have always found him listening carefully to new perspectives. 4. Customer first: Customer is a long term asset of the company and we should always strive to improve customer experience. Today APML is known for the ability to provide better customer experience everytime. 5. Giving back to society: Always try to give back to the community as we have earned from it and the lowest strata of employees should also feel they are valued and respected. The Nidra daan scheme was part of it and lakhs of drivers have been given the opportunity and benefit of relaxing on the highways by creating the relax areas and avoiding thousands of accidents.
