KNBC4 Los Angeles – Two Red Flag Warnings issued. Low humidity, a moderate Santa Ana wind, and warmer temps are creating Red Flag conditions for Southern California. An additional Red Flag warning is also in effect with Christmas trees. Just like our hillsides, the low humidity, home heater use, and lack of moisture are drying out live Christmas trees quickly. Keep them watered and away from heat sources. Run your hand on the branches. If needles fall off easily, the tree is dying. Reduce the amount of time with Christmas tree lights. They also deplete the moisture!

Regarding, #PalisadesFire: 1. YES, it is 100% arson. (Not an opinion.) 2. YES, it is bad management. (Check that budget of "preventative" against "fighting the fire."), and... 3. YES, even the bad management is on purpose. (Also- NOT an opinion.) *btw, THIS TIME.. as opposed to 2018 (Topanga Canyon fire) and 2019 (Palisades /Highlands fire) the fire burned my former residence down. There is absolutely ZERO protocol, information, or resources given to residents during these fires. Zilch. Nada. Bupkis. "How can this possibly be?" you ask? Because... California. California legislators need to be dragged into the light, and put on notice. https://lnkd.in/g4gVaU2n #forestfires #fire #FireIndustrialComplex
