The following photo showcase one meeting’s room of the headquarters office space we did for Media.Monks in Madrid Spain. The meeting room’s lighting design strategy incorporates a dual-layered approach, coupling a prominent oval overhead fixture with strategically placed recessed linear lighting. Central to the room is a large, rounded-shaped overhead fixture contributing to the rounded identity of the space emitting a soft, diffused light that complements the natural light streaming in from the window, enhancing the room’s inviting quality without overwhelming it, promoting a conducive atmosphere for concentration and interaction. The recessed linear solution is a masterstroke, installed within the ceiling’s contours to create a wall-washing effect that highlights the rich texture of the curtains. This technique not only enhances the vertical dimensions of the room, adding a sense of height and spaciousness, but also produces a grazing effect that accentuates the luxurious folds of the fabric, contributing to the overall ambience.
