Every year, 1.35 million lives are lost globally due to road crashes. Of these fatalities, 44,000 occur in the US, making it one of the most dangerous countries among developed nations. Fatalities continue to rise. Over the last 15 years, car-related fatalities rose by 20%. How can we reduce highway fatalities by 30% by 2030?
