Sad news this week - our local football team has gone into administration. From watching as kids and harbouring ambitions of one day being paid to play football, Torquay United represent everything great about lower league football and is great place to spend our Saturday afternoons. From being close to the action, to being a central fixture in the local community and a world away from the millionaire premier league - as anyone who follows football at this level, it’s fun, infuriating and filled with camaraderie. And now they’re at serious risk of going under, so we thought we’d post here and see what can be done - there’s great potential for the right person or turnaround specialists and why not use the LinkedIn community.
