"Mom, I finally did it... I made a youtube video!"
Okay, maybe it's not impressive enough to brag to my mom about, but we've finally launched our video podcast. We're calling it the Tugboat Settle for More Show. We'll also publish it as an audio podcast in the near future.
Over the past few months we have filmed more than a dozen interviews and conversations. Some are with Aaron Mooney and myself, as well as with other amazing professionals like David Princeton, Christopher Mooney, Kurt Spencer, Terry Wang, Joe Kirgues, Caleb Owens, and others that work in claims, insurance, real estate, restoration, finance, and other fields.
Though our discussions will generally have an angle relating to property claims, much of the discussions are often around the broader concepts of negotiation, self-advocacy, and communication.
Here is the first one we are publishing, titled "Insurance Claim Estimates Are Wrong".
Enjoy!
PS: I did tell my mom and she was proud and she asked you to subscribe.

Today, the topic that we're going to go over that I wrote down for us to explore, I just wrote insurance claim estimates are wrong. It's, it's pretty broad. I'll let us explore it a little bit. Aaron, I'll throw it over to you. One of the, one of the notes that I have is just the fact that they call it an estimate seems a little bit off sometimes, right? If you haven't had a claim before, an estimate is that first thing that you're going to get after your adjuster has been out to actually look at your property, if that's the way that your claim goes. But in most cases it is. And so an adjuster will come out and inspect the damage and then you will get a document that's going to tell you. How much your insurance company is offering to pay for that, regardless of what the amount is or kind of how it came about it, it'll usually say estimate at the top of that document. And an estimate, if you get it from a contractor is usually really early, right? If you had a contractor come out and quote a job and they give you an estimate, it's preliminary, right? It's a, it's, it's simple, right? It's usually one piece of paper might say like kitchen and then the subcategory for cabinets, floors, and. Countertops or something like that. Estimates are by nature loose, but that doesn't carry over when the carrier does their estimate.

These numbers are staggering!!
If you’re afraid to take a leap of faith because of insurance, money, benefits, etc….
THIS IS YOUR TIME! You won’t get too many chances to take the opportunity! Start your own business, take that commission only job, start that podcast, do what makes you happy!!!
I promise, if you follow your heart and your passions everything will fall into place!
Per Alex Hormozi’s book $100M OFFERS, his last chapter on “‘Naming’ says this about the Implicit-Egotism Effect: “we are generally drawn to the things and people that most resemble us.”
This is why being a #MicroNiche producer is better than being a generalist.
You’re able to relate better to your prospects as they see you as someone who understands them and is the obvious choice of which agent to do business was with.
