Cameroon Youth Awards’ Post

Forbah Sandra . N is an Ocean Literacy advocate, a 2024 National Geographic Young Explorer, a current Masters student, a nature lover and youth empowerment advocate. She is the Founder of BRIDGES (Building Resilient Individuals, Developing Generational Environmental Sustainability), which stems from her first-hand experience with the lack of environmental education courses of real-world environmental crisis or capacity building experience from the school system. She seeks to bridge the knowledge gaps by taking to classroom and communities the impactful educational courses, capacities and knowledge of opportunities exploitable for young people in the environmental sector, at an early stage of their education to foster communities for resilience and inclusivity to make informed decisions for a health planet. #youthempowerment
