Would you know how to support a young person who felt suicidal? Last September we launched our Missed Birthdays installation featuring 6,929 birthday balloons, each one representing a young person who has died by suicide in the last decade. Young people who never got to celebrate their next birthday. Our new film tells the story of one of those young people. Evelyn was just 15 when she took her own life. Her story is an urgent reminder that we need people to act today, to stop more young people feeling like suicide is their only option. That’s why we’ve created the CALM C.A.R.E. Kit, to help us all learn the life-saving skills we need to protect young people from suicide. Thanks to adam&eveDDB and Academy Films for their brilliant work in helping us create this, to Iceland Foods Charitable Foundation for making the film possible and, most of all, to Jenni and Jack, Evelyn’s parents, for their bravery and courage in telling her story to help others in the future. We all have a part to play to change the shocking statistics around youth suicide and provide real, practical support for the young people in our lives. So please visit the CALM C.A.R.E. Kit today 👉 https://bit.ly/4juq17B 💚 Together, we can end youth suicide.
Heartbreaking. This is why CALM is so important.
This is so heartbreaking and impactful. As mum to a daughter it hits home hard. A reminder of why we do what we do. Thank you 🙏 💛
heartbreaking, just absolutely heartbreaking

Bought tears to my eyes......so young.
Crying here and is just making me think of my little daughter. I saw the missed birthday balloons installation last year which was hard hitting but a beautiful display at the same time. 🫶
What a beautiful girl she is ❤️ I'm so sorry the world failed you. RIP xx
