#cognac - truly misunderstood product. So much is going on around #whisky , all kinds of it: aged, blends, malts, flavored. So little is going on in the consumer’s mind about cognac: grape juice distillate for the older generation. But when you dive deeper into the category you start to understand the complexity of the liquid and explore drinks so similar and so different, although produced in the same geographical region and from the same grape variety. Every producer, every extra age spent in a cellar, every temperature degree taken by a grape, every drop of water absorbed by the soil in Cognac create unique profile of each well-known and every niche brandy. I always appreciate every effort done to open tremendous world of cognac to every spirits’ consumer. There is no stupid questions. Great job, #hennessy

This is Nemea Grande Reserve of 100%Agiorgitiko grapes - by the iconic Semèli Estate; a privately owned single vineyard at 580 meters “vin de garde” produced at an extremely limited number of bottles, exclusively by the approval of the Estate’s winemakers team and when the vintage has been rated as exceptional; the wine matures for 18 months in French oak casks and at least 30 months in the bottles before its release; The inevitable question that arises though is to either keeping it according to the “instructions” for later, or to savor it at once?
