This Loan Officer forgot to add the part about me locking her in a room 🔑 Guilty. "Jen is amazing!! This was my first deal and she made it so easy for me. She is extremely knowledgeable and great to work with." Yep, I locked her in the conference room with her borrowers shiny new purchase contact, a phone and a plan. "Ok, Call them all." I said. "And say what?" She said. "Introduce yourself. Tell them you are going to be handling the financing for the borrower. Tell them you can't wait to work with them on this deal! Let them know you are here for any questions they have. Start building a relationship with them." I said. So we did. She called both Realtors and both Attorneys with me by her side. And then she knocked it out of the park and had this loan CTC weeks before the closing. I know the Realtors and Attorneys were blown away by her communication and follow through. There are things successful Loan Officers do that they learned over time by watching other successful Loan Officers and Mentors. Let me help speed up that learning curve. ✅ We submitted a new application to Halifax on Wednesday for clients based at Catterick Garrison. ⭐️ A market-leading rate was secured. 🩷 I have thanked the clients for waiting for me while I took a week off. They had their offer accepted the day I went away! It means the world that they waited for me. ⭐️I am pleased that the application has been swift so far! 🩷 My clients have had significant changes recently, including an official exit from the Army at the end of March and a new contract with a new career path that started this week. 🏡 The valuation has already come back as agreed, and we are just awaiting one document to be signed off on. The house is a perfect family home. ⭐️ Hopefully, we will have a formal offer next week! 🏡As soon as the formal offer is in, we can instruct a RICS level 2 survey on the property to check its condition before my clients commit financially. ‼️I cannot stress the importance of knowing the property you are buying. 🩷 We are working on the client's protection portfolio as I write this. Those applications will be over to Aviva early next week for underwriting. Have a fantastic weekend. Further updates and content will follow.
