In the attempt to blend school, higher and vocational education seamlessly National Credit Framework (NCrF) was introduced by the government in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) of 2020. Now CBSE trials NCrF in classes 6, 9, and 11 from 2024-25, linking credits to Academic Bank of Credit focusing on accessibility, online learning, and economic development.
