Week 4 of my Charity Customer Shoutouts goes to the incredible Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust 📢 Working alongside Rebecca, Sarah and Angelika has opened my eyes to the incredible efforts made by Durrell's in the world of wildlife and conservation. I'm excited to shed light on some of the remarkable work they undertake to safeguard our planet's most extraordinary and treasured inhabitants. Here are just five compelling reasons why Durrell's truly deserve to be celebrated!  🎉 1. Saving Species: They're like the superheroes of the animal kingdom, working tirelessly to save endangered species from disappearing forever. 2. Global Impact: Durrell's efforts span the globe, from Madagascar to Jersey, showing their commitment to wildlife conservation worldwide. 3. As we continue to celebrate the 118th anniversary of the #AntiquitiesAct this month, local elected officials are also calling on President Biden to designate more #NationalMonuments. In the words of Santa Fe Mayor Alan Webber, national monuments increase equitable access to nature, restore our region's biodiversity, protect wildlife, and boost our local economies. It's World Wetlands Day! Where better to find these than in Domain 03 - home of the Everglades! Florida's wetlands are critical biodiversity hotspots and provide countless benefits to the animals and plants that live there. Worried about water quality? The swamp has got you covered. Need protection from storm surge? Mangroves to the rescue! Wetlands are vital to the health of the places and things we love, including ourselves. From surreal pine lilies (Lilium catesbaei) to baby swamp puppies (Alligator mississippiensis), the Disney Wilderness Preserve features unimaginable beauty. Sadly, many wetlands across the United States are under severe threat from climate change. NEON aims to measure how our wetland ecosystems are changing through a variety of data collection and data products. To learn more about what we are finding in wetlands, check out neonscience.org.

Wetlands have sustained and inspired humanity from the earliest times. Every day, people around the world are working to protect these precious ecosystems. Just as wetlands and people are interlaced, so are our individual actions that impact these richly biodiverse habitats.
