Coverage stock Warriedar Resources Ltd (ASX: WA8) has just completed an important first year of exploration activity with respect to its Fields Find and Golden Dragon gold projects, acquired in early 2023 and located within the prolific Murchison region of Western Australia. In all, WA8 completed six drilling programs across the projects, comprising a total of 189 holes for 36,088 metres. The Golden Dragon and Fields Find Projects are located within the right neighbourhood - just 60km north of fellow coverage stock Capricorn Metals’ (ASX: CMM) Mt Gibson Gold Project, 3km west of 29 Metals’ Golden Grove mine, and 12km northeast of Silver Lake Resources’ (ASX: SLR) high-grade Rothsay gold mine. Golden Dragon and Fields Find host a combined existing JORC Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) of 19.2 Mt @ 1.5 g/t Au for 945 koz of gold - with 461 koz contained within the Measured & Indicated classification. We expect to see the release of a host of assay results from the recently completed drilling programs, with initial results from the Mopoke, Falcon, Sandpiper and Warriedar copper prospects at Fields Find West, proving to be particularly encouraging. This work has confirmed a multi-phase porphyry intrusive system hosting polymetallic mineralisation comprised of gold, copper, molybdenum and silver. High-grade gold results, up to 67g/t Au intersected from the first hole in the diamond drilling program at our Trafalgar Prospect at the Golden Ridge Project. 3 intersections returned >1 ounce/tonne gold, with drilling confirming the continuity of multiple sub-parallel high-grade gold veins at Trafalgar. A second hole has been completed with further assays pending from the first and later holes. #ASXNews High-Grade Copper-Zinc Intersected at C4 Ahead of Resource Update Alvo Minerals Ltd is pleased to announce diamond drill results from its maiden drill program at C4 Prospect, consistent with Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide mineralisation from the Company’s 100% owned high-grade Palma Cu-Zn VMS Project. • The C4 Prospect is a ‘Brownfields Discovery’ made by Alvo in August 2023, as part of the broader Palma Cu-Zn Project that hosts an existing Inferred Mineral Resource Estimate of 4.6Mt @ 1.0% Cu, 3.9% Zn, 0.4% Pb & 20g/t Ag. • Diamond drilling at C4 has delivered thick and high-grade Zn-Cu intercepts including PD4-092: 9.5m @ 7.5% ZnEq* or 3.1% CuEq from 167m Inc. 3.8m @ 16.0% ZnEq or 6.6% CuEq from 168m. • Results follow discovery hole at C4 of 37m @ 4.6% ZnEq or 1.9% CuEq from 113m (PD4-084). • C4 is open to the west, southwest and northeast, where mineralisation appears closer to surface. • New untested VMS target located 300m NE of C4 identified and progressing towards drill-testing. • A Maiden MRE is being prepared for C4, expected to be reported in combination with an updated MRE for the C1 and C3 deposits in Q2 CY2024. Coverage stock Barton Gold (ASX: BGD) (initiated in June 2023) is currently undertaking a focused work program at its Tarcoola Gold Project in South Australia. Encouraging results from the planned ~7,000m drilling program have seen it expanded to ~9,000m in order to test new structural targets located close to the Perseverance Mine, with assays awaited. Separately, BGD has also released high-grade assay results from drilling undertaken at the Perseverance mine between September 2023 and April 2024, which were designed to test for shallow, easily accessible open-pit mineralisation. Encouragingly, the assay results have confirmed multiple shallow high-grade extensions of pit floor mineralisation in, and new high-grade structures below, the Perseverance mine. Gander Gold Corp. (CSE:GAND) has unearthed what is described as a significant gold system at the Lizard Pond area of the Gander South project. The company, in a statement, said that each hole in recent drilling at Lizard Pond showed continuous gold mineralization from the surface, across the entire length of 65 meters (m). Highlight drill results exceeded 1 gram per tonne (g/t) – with 1.06 g/t gold (Au) over 13.7m and 1.48 g/t Au over 3.0m, both of which from the surface. The results align with the upper percentile values from the explorer’s prior soil and rock geochemistry studies. Chief executive Mark Scott described the company as “very pleased” with the significant results. “All three drillholes were consistently mineralized from top to bottom and two of the three had greater than 1 g/t Au occurring over significant widths immediately below the overburden cover,” Scott said in a statement.
