PEOPLE. They are everything. As an HR manager who gets frustrated easily as something goes wrong, I have to take a step back and look at these faces. Faces of a team who worked day and night to deliver our biggest order, to create our best products, who put together a whole new production line ... The faces who are always smiling, ready to help, and motivated to bring TOSLA to new heights! 📈 Do you have anyone to whom you want to give a shoutout? Mention them in the comment section. PS: Check out the video from our annual summer picnic! 👇 #family #employees #hrmanager

Here is one thing I've realised in my career to date: Leaving a company often reveals more about its culture than joining it ever could. When you start a new job, it's all about first impressions, getting access to all the systems, and meeting new colleagues over company lunches. But how a company treats you when you're leaving, displays its true values and respect for its employees. A transparent and supportive exit process shows that a company genuinely cares about its people, and not just their contributions. It demonstrates a willingness to maintain relations and also makes you as an individual feel 'heard'. Especially, when you haven't chosen to leave. Let’s strive to create environments where respect and appreciation are present from start to finish #CompanyCulture #EmployeeExperience

Do you agree? When an employee decides to move on from your company, it's an opportunity to showcase the value of a positive departure. Departures can be bittersweet, but treating outgoing team members with respect and gratitude sets the tone for a lasting positive impression. By fostering a culture of respect during farewells, you not only uphold your company's values but also create potential ambassadors. Former employees, when treated well, can continue to speak positively about their experiences, becoming advocates for your brand. This investment in respectful departures not only preserves a positive work environment but also extends the reach of your company's reputation through the network of those who have moved on.

6 months 🎉🤯 Wow! 6 months ago I joined Nicole Phipps and Maureen Allen in the charge to continue to deliver gracious global onboarding and exit experiences at Kohler Co. It was a jump back to ‘ole HR roots after 2.5 years collaborating with our global teams to understand and address associate and community needs as we strive to help people live gracious, healthy and sustainable lives. 💡6 insights for 6 months: 1️⃣ Empathy is key: Understanding the associate journey from start to finish helps us design more meaningful and effective processes during some of an employee’s most vulnerable moments- so how can we zero in on the moments that matter most? 2️⃣ Data tells a story: Leveraging feedback and analytics has been crucial in making informed decisions that impact our associate experiences. And helps us prioritize and tackle opportunity at the root. 3️⃣ Partner for Impact: Cross-functional collaboration is everything and partnering with different teams ensures that our approach is holistic and aligned with the bigger picture- and this collaboration is essential to understand needs and scale. 4️⃣ It’s hard to let go: I was deeply passionate about the work of my old team. And while still close, it’s incredibly hard to be on the sidelines now. But, that creates opportunity for extending that work into what we’re building (see #3) #ally 5️⃣ Never stop iterating: There’s always room for improvement. And zero shortage of opportunity in this space. The best programs evolve based on feedback and changing needs- and the best way forward is constant tinkering. 6️⃣ Celebrate the wins: It’s important to take a moment to appreciate progress, big or small. Many days it feels like we haven’t done much (my brain is just trying to boil the ocean over here **see previous post**), but it’s important to acknowledge every milestone along the way! Looking forward to where we’re headed and continuing to partner to shape these critical moments for our teams globally! 🌍🚀 — TL;DR 6 months in my current role. Learning lots. Going great. #Onboarding #HR #EmployeeExperience #InternalMobility #enagement #growth

I recently joined Weave and had the best onboarding experience in my career. The company is dialed. One of the parts that made it world-class was the steps taken by Marcus Bertilson and Austin Strong, which included a detailed document with all sorts of helpful information, 1:1’s set up, and just time spent with me despite their busy schedules. This article outlines how to do a world class onboarding, and even includes some of the docs used if you wanted to see examples. https://lnkd.in/g8p3SFsd

Remember the butterflies in your stomach on your first day at a new job? That mix of excitement and anxiety is universal. But what if we could transform that experience into one of genuine welcome and support from day one? I've seen firsthand how a well-planned welcome can make all the difference. It's not just about making a good first impression; it's about setting the stage for long-term success and retention. Did you know that companies with engaging onboarding programs retain 91% of their first-year workers? That's huge! So, how can we create that warm, supportive environment? Here are some strategies I've found incredibly effective: 1. Reach out before day one with a friendly welcome and essential info 2. Prepare their workspace with all the necessities (and maybe a little welcome gift!) 3. Plan introductions to help them connect with the team 4. Set clear expectations for their first week 5. Assign a 'buddy' to show them the ropes 6. Schedule regular check-ins to address any concerns These simple steps can ease those new job jitters and help your new hire hit the ground running. As leadership expert Karin Hurt wisely puts it, "A great welcome is an investment in your team's future success." I'm curious – how does your company welcome new team members? Are you setting them up for success or just going through the motions? Let's share our best practices and experiences. After all, we've all been the 'new kid' at some point! #EmployeeOnboarding #NewHireWelcome #WorkplaceCulture #LeadershipTips #EmployeeRetention

Why it is important to recognize? The date of employment can seem almost as important a date as one’s birthdate because in their own particular way both mark the passage of time in a person’s life and career. You may not remember every workday, but you always remember the day you started working. Don't miss this opportunity! Treat your employees on their upcoming anniversary with a gift of their choice. Visit our website today for more information on our gift recognition program. * * * #employeeappreciation #teamappreciation #work #success #management #humanresources #giftideas #milestone #employeemotivation #motivate #teamwork #thankyou #teambuilding #environment #experience #growth #recognition #recognitionawards #customerservice #sales #team #job #hiring #marketing #employeeanniversary
