Lovely afternoon Stanbrook Abbey at the Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce Business Leaders Summer BBQ. Bridget Robinson and I had a very interesting conversation about all things logistical with Tony Seifas. 💡A topic that keeps coming up in college and business discussions is the dress code. How important do you think it is to dress appropriately for an interview or in the workplace? I'd love to hear your thoughts and experiences on this! #DressCode #WorkplaceAttire #Professionalism #InterviewTips #BusinessEtiquette #HWChamber
A lovely afternoon spent with Jodie Taylor Grimshaw representing Heart of Worcestershire College at Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce Business Leaders Summer BBQ. Catch ups with Jo Murphy and Coralie Hudson and new connections with Tony Seifas was the order of the day at Stanbrook Abbey Hotel. Thank you Yasmin Bent, Robert Elliot, Olivia Williams and Sharon Smith for another great event.

As many of you know, my husband is from County Leitrim, (a province of Connacht in the North West region of Ireland). This County is dubbed ‘Lovely Leitrim” for its beautiful landscape of surrounding lakes, rivers, and drumlin hills. Over the years, his Irish heritage has woven itself into the fabric of our lives, influencing our interactions and how we approach work and communication. Growing up in Ireland, my husband was steeped in a culture rich with storytelling, warmth, and a strong sense of community. These values have undoubtedly shaped his outlook on life, and in turn, have left an indelible mark on our partnership and professional collaborations. Building genuine connections is one aspect of Irish culture that resonates deeply with us. In Ireland, conversation isn't merely a means of exchanging information; it's an art form, a dance of words where listening is as important as speaking. This emphasis on active listening has strengthened our relationship and proven invaluable in our professional endeavors. Furthermore, the Irish love for storytelling has taught us the importance of using narratives in communication. As a result, we strive to incorporate compelling narratives that resonate on a human level into our work. Perhaps most importantly, this has taught us to be adaptable and resilient. The Irish have weathered their fair share of storms throughout history, yet they emerge with an unwavering spirit and a sense of humor. This resilience is a guiding light in our personal and professional lives, reminding us to approach challenges with optimism and determination. As we celebrate St. Patrick's Day and reflect on the richness of Irish culture, I'm reminded of the profound impact it has had on our lives. From fostering deeper connections to infusing our work with creativity and resilience, Irish heritage continues to shape how we navigate the world. So here's to the Emerald Isle, and the enduring influence of Irish heritage on our work, our relationships, and our lives. May we all carry a little bit of Ireland in our hearts, today and every day. 🇮🇪💚 #IrishHeritage #StPatricksDay #Leitrim #Culture #Communication #Resilience #Community #partnership #peopleandculture

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! 🍀 March 17th marks a global celebration honoring Ireland’s patron saint, known for spreading Christianity. Traditionally, it meant church visits and closed pubs, but in 1737, Boston hosted the first parade, later adopted by Ireland. While cherished by the Irish diaspora, it's embraced worldwide as a day of Irish pride and camaraderie. Whether Irish or not, everyone’s welcome to join the festivities, but it's crucial to celebrate respectfully. If your office plans a party, consider incorporating traditional Irish food or getting creative with themed treats. Keep decorations culturally focused, emphasizing leprechauns and clovers. Setting guidelines for attire ensures a respectful atmosphere. Avoid inappropriate costumes and educate on sensitivity around pinching, which can be misconstrued as harassment. If concerns arise about cultural appropriation, remind that St. Patrick’s Day evolved from celebrating Irish heritage amid discrimination. Alcohol poses challenges, so consider limiting drinks or opting for alcohol-free options. Encourage responsible behavior and offer safe rides home. Incentives like late arrival or free lunch can deter post-celebration absences. Ultimately, fostering a festive, inclusive environment boosts morale and engagement. Let’s celebrate responsibly and enjoy the spirit of the holiday! 🎉 #humanresources #saintpatricksday #officeculture

Building and nurturing outstanding Keyrock team | We're hiring Algo Traders, Rust Engineers and more | Talk about: Talent Management, Cryptocurrency, Blockchain, DeFi, Fin-tech
a highlight of the last several months for our People team ✨ Chloe Hudson Rebecca Neal 👏 We create engagement of our globally distributed, remote team by enabling frequent re-connection in our headquarters. Our offices in Brussels are an alive, beating heart of the company. To do that sustainably, over time and at scale, we need cost optimisation - but not at the expense of the comfort of our Rockers. That is how we arrived at the concept of "Keyrock Maison" - a serviced townhouse where everyone has comfortable personal space but where our team members can create connections in thoughtfully designed shared spaces while they visit. At 50% cost compared to hotels or airbnbs 💸 Curious to know what other distributed companies do to keep their teams "together" and aligned 💡
Home is where the heart is. And now, it's in Brussels, too. - We've teamed up with Neybor to provide Keyrockers with a cozy house steps away from our HQ. It's our way of showing that we value our team members' presence, welcoming them in a serene and carefully curated environment when they visit 🏡
