What if there was a way to not fight, fear, and battle cancer, but instead, follow a blueprint to REVERSE cancer? Have you or your loved one ever been diagnosed with cancer? Have you had a loved one who has died from cancer? The World Health Organization want and need to learn from your experience. During their lifetime, 1 in 5 people are diagnosed with cancer. Nearly every family around the world is affected by cancer, either directly or as caregivers of someone who has had cancer. We need to learn more about the emotional and practical needs of people affected by cancer, to offer better support. WHO's "Global survey on the lived experience of people affected by cancer" was designed in collaboration with those affected by cancer. To take the survey click here: https://lnkd.in/gxf-ZWvQ

It's National Cancer Survivors Day! ECAN celebrates Esophageal Cancer survivors today and every day. Cancer survivorship isn’t just about being alive after cancer; it’s about living life as fully as possible. Now more than ever, it is vital to ensure cancer survivors are not forgotten once active treatment ends. More people are surviving and living longer after cancer than ever before, but they still face long-term effects such as ongoing physical and emotional side effects, an increased risk for second primary cancers, and potentially devastating financial setbacks. All cancer survivors deserve a life with fewer complications and more celebration. Join us to #CelebrateLife and raise awareness of the challenges of cancer survivorship this National Cancer Survivors Day #NCSD2024.

A Heartfelt Reminder: Early Detection Can Save Lives—Schedule Your Cancer Screenings Today October is Cancer Awareness Month 🎗️ This year, cancer awareness hits closer to home for me than ever before. My mom, who is currently battling stage 3 colon cancer, shared an important message that I’d like to pass along to all of you: “Cancer is devastating and shows no mercy. Early detection is key to fighting it. I urge everyone to have a colonoscopy when they turn 50, or sooner if they have a family history. If my message reaches just one person and encourages them to get tested, then I know my efforts can make a positive, powerful impact on someone else's life.” Kathryn Griffith - Denny I couldn't agree more. Cancer doesn’t discriminate, and the best way we can protect ourselves and our loved ones is by staying proactive with regular screenings and annual exams—for all types of cancer, not just one. If you’ve been putting off a check-up, now is the time to schedule it. Early detection can make all the difference. My mom’s strength and faith inspire me every day, and I hope her message inspires you to take action, too. 💖 #CancerAwareness #ColonCancer #BreastCancer #EarlyDetectionSavesLives #GetScreened #HealthFirst #FaithAndStrength #FightingTogether
