The Candid team is continuing to grow quickly, and we're excited to announce four new hires: Matt DenHartog, Thomas Wunderlich, Olivia Black, and Nicolas Schneider!
Matt has joined as an Enterprise Account Executive on the Sales Team. Matt has spent the majority of his career in medical device technologies, calling on a wide variety of specialties and facilities. For the last 2+ years, he was a Healthcare Strategic Account Director for Vonage, selling communication technologies to some of the largest telehealth platforms and providers in the US.
Thomas has joined as Candid's first Security Engineer. Thomas spent the first half of his career as a Full-Stack Engineer with a focus on application security including a stint at Google. In 2017, he moved full-time to infrastructure and security including building the original infrastructure, security and compliance programs at Cedar. Subsequently he’s built infrastructure and security programs at a marketing tech unicorn, a seed stage security startup and an energy company.
Olivia has joined as a Recruiter in the San Francisco office. Olivia has ~8 years of recruiting experience, mostly focused on tech. After graduating from UVA, she spent the first few years of her career in the agency world and then started her internal recruiting journey at AWS, where she worked on the National Security Team hiring engineers with high-level clearances to work with Intelligence Community customers. After AWS, she transitioned over to Stripe and worked on the Specialized Tech Recruiting Team. In 2022 she moved to SF, ran her own recruiting agency for a while, and most recently worked at a Series A robotics startup called Matic.
Nicolas has joined as a Software Engineer in the New York Office. Nicolas has spent his career as a Full Stack Engineer bouncing between small startups and big tech companies such as Capital One, Amazon, Formation, and Brightfox. He's excited to be at Candid and back in a startup environment.
