Our team at Candid Health continues to grow! 📈 Excited to announce 3 recent hires: Brandon Hubbard, Rohan Dave, Akshay Malavade. Brandon has joined as our Customer Onboarding Lead in the New York office. Brandon started working in tech in 2014 as an Implementation Manager. He loved the nature of customer onboarding as it requires both deep knowledge of what the product can do and how the customer will use it, optimizing for their needs. Brandon worked in various roles within onboarding departments through 2020 when he took on a Customer Success Leadership role with a mental health startup. After leaving that company in late 2023 he decided that implementation in healthcare is his passion, which led him to joining Candid! Rohan has joined Candid as our Finance Lead (and first member of that team!) in the San Francisco office. Rohan joins us from HashiCorp, where he spent the last 4 years working across FP&A, Investor Relations, and Corporate Development. Prior to HashiCorp, Rohan worked at a boutique investment bank in Los Angeles, CA. Akshay has joined our Strategy & Ops team in the New York office. Akshay was most recently at Truepill, where he took on key strategic initiatives and managed a portfolio of accounts. Previously he was a consultant at ZS Associates, where he led process improvement projects and identified potential savings for clients.

The last 2 weeks have been insane. - We are working with 6 NEW Fortune500 Executives now. - Hired two new pods of 8 people. - Spent around 7.3 hours/day in meetings. We have completely changed our business in the last 3 months. We have internally cracked to code to: a) Build reputation at scale for executives (Personal branding is dead) b)Scale companies to get DAUs all organically (No AD spend at all) It is working brilliantly. Chiseled is now working with few of the best people on this platform. The information/word ratio in client calls is huge. I wish I could share more but we signed 3 NDAs this week itself xD It has been hectic. My workdays start at 6 & end at 2 (in the night). But it has been so much fun. I will try to be more active here in the coming few days. I will keep posting my learnings as and when. The hustle stays on. Ps: This is how work is looking lately. Trees. Bath salts. Birds Chirping. Love it.

CEO of Capptoo Life Science and CXO at CX Advisory - Leading a team of +100 People that help you to drive CX Strategies, Innovation and Results | 25+ Years in Pharma, Healthcare, and FMCG | CX, AI and VoC practitioner
My previous corporate job was perfect. So, why did I leave it all behind to start my own business? I earned a good salary, I had team members that I could rely on, and it was safe, so what prompted me to start CX-Advisory.com? Maybe it was because I had a bit of a midlife crisis😅, but I also wanted to get more into business development, and I wanted to work with software teams to help solve challenges for my customers. In my experience, corporate companies always struggle with the next new buzzwords like AI transformation, data transformation, and CX transformation. They first get excited about the newest technology behind these buzzwords, then they start experimenting with it, and they’d realize it’s not compliant with their strategy. And, only then would they start creating policies and strategies around this new tech. Luckily, because I’ve been a senior consultant, strategy is one of my specialties, and because I’m a bit of a geek 😎, I also knew how to work with and around these new technologies. So, I saw this as an opportunity to support these companies by offering my strategy services through my own business. I took a leap of faith, and overall, I’m happy with where I ended up. Luckily, I had already paid off my car, otherwise, I would have been a lot more stressed at the time 😅. ---------------------------------------------------- If you want to see what the results of my leap of faith were, you can check out what I do at CX-Advisory on the link below: https://lnkd.in/dRPunNGk

C-Suite 'bloat' is in the news at the moment. We're not talking waistlines though - we're talking about the the number and type of CxO roles within larger organisations. Is it necessary or is it just playing to people's vanity? This BBC News article examines why the C-Suite has grown enormously in the last few decades. Factors include: global companies operate in complex environments; public accountability of CEOs on socio-political and economic issues; and growing technological complexity demanding a broader skillset. There is evidence of over-hiring - C-Suite roles with overlapping spheres of responsibility - and some roles that are more superficial, so-called 'temporary' executives. There's a case for a fractional executives covering some of these roles that are targeting a mid-term strategic concern (e.g. Chief AI Officers). (I still think dogs as Chief Happiness Officers is a no-brainer though). The CEO is one person, and no matter how qualified, they will need help navigating today's business landscape, so there is value in an expanded C-Suite. But with more than 150 C-Suite titles, the impact of the title is diluted in all but the most important roles. What are your thoughts? Do you think the C-Suite is becoming 'bloated' as the article suggests? Or is this trend necessary to keep up with the evolving business landscape? #csuite #cxo #chiefs #bbcnews #seraph #b2bmarketing #marketing https://lnkd.in/efX4VQ3i

20 years ago, I began my career at a top IT consultancy firm. Everyday, I was using tech to solve important business problems. Boosting revenue. Boosting efficiency. Boosting profitability. But I wasn’t truly fulfilled. There was something missing. My role was to build technical enterprise systems for huge companies. Unlocking growth & supporting the c-suite. And whilst I loved my work… I wanted to support the everyday executors in these big companies more. So I made a crazy decision… I left my amazing corporate career behind. And I started RyzeUP - to unlock the potential of everyday people. The frustrated manager that wants their team to hit targets. The frontline worker that wants to perform better & enjoy their work. And that’s exactly what we do today. We help managers to reach new heights of commission. We help the frontline do better work & exceed their targets. ALL whilst making their roles more rewarding & fun. So they become self-motivated, and go home everyday with a sense of pride. For me… this is the dream: To support the growth of amazing companies, boosting returns for key stakeholders. Whilst ALSO supporting the daily growth of the people on the ground. And today - I’ve never felt more excited, energised or fulfilled in my career. Sometimes, you have to make a huge sacrifices in the short-term. To strive towards your most important goals in the long-term. Don’t you agree? PS. Ever feel like you're not quite sure what I do? 🤷 We're a boutique consulting firm. I know, another consultant right? I promise we're different... While large firms are often too big to pivot, we stay agile through our network of trusted partners. While large firms struggle to keep top tier talent (because they're starting their own business) we're partnering with the best of the best in their respective niches. Sometimes they execute on our projects, other times they hire us to help them overcome their business challenges. We take a unique approach, working WITH them to identify paint points and develop a strategy to turn them into opportunities. They'll either take the strategy and run, or hire us on for fractional support in areas like sales, marketing, human resources, and operations. That is why you'll see Hive representing a handful of businesses we believe in. We don't work off long term contracts - pay as you go, leave as you wish. We're built on personalization, flexibility, collaboration and transparency. Interested in wanting to work together, becoming a trusted partner or just want to learn more? Phew! Thank you to the entire team at The Big Search and at Navis for the hard work in Q1 - and also to our clients and the talented individuals who trust us with their most important hiring/career decisions. ✅ At The Big Search we partnered on exec searches with remarkable clients - from a unicorn social #marketplace giant, to PE-backed B2B #SaaS growing to 100m ARR, to VC-backed #deeptech start-ups creating game-changing IP. ✅ Navis broke through its 1000th executive research project, supporting other tier 1 executive search boutiques and internal exec hiring teams at tech companies on their leadership hiring. ✅ We scored a record-high client NPS of 88 at TBS and 71 at Navis for the whole of Q1! This is a very deliberate achievement, based on us putting quality above everything else, so it's nice to see the data reflecting the effort. ❌On the flip side our candidate NPS was 30, below the industry avg. of 33, so quite some work to do here - and clearly shows we let this slip. ✅ We grew revenue qoq by 12% - might not seem much, but after about 1 year of declines, this is great news. ✅ March was also our best month in the last 6 months - and the sales pipeline is stronger than it has been in a long time. 😐 After being stuck in negative land for 3 quarters in a row, our eNPS was also +33 again. Still, a lot of work to do to climb back to the 60s and 70s, but we have made some progress. Special shout-out to Elena, Andrei, Ilya, Ana-Marija, Curry, Petra, Ceci, Monika, Ivona, Julijana, and Emily. Thank you for what you do every day, day in and day out. It's a blessing to work with you all. 🙏 We keep pushing! 🫸

Analyzing revenue-per-employee benchmarks (a proxy for productivity) of 50 consulting providers across six competitor groups, showed us that productivity gains were already diminishing pre-Covid for some groups. Furthermore, while Covid did unleash a productivity boom, by 2023 productivity for most groups is back to its 2017 starting point (or worse). The global consulting firms are embarking on massive internal investment around generative AI solutions. Layoffs alone won’t be enough to sustain those investments. If consulting bulge bracket wants to escape the old binge-purge cycle, it should fully embrace the more productized business model and corresponding productivity gains it promises. But to accomplish that requires a whole-firm commitment. #consulting #consultingindustry #consulting4.0 #consultingsector #professionalservices #knowledgeeconomy #innovationeconomy #consultancy #futureofconsulting
