Mouthing is normal behaviour for puppies and dogs. It is a way for them to explore the world around them. Puppies and dogs gently put their mouths around objects, including people's hands and feet. This behaviour is a part of their natural development and plays a vital role in their communication, socialisation, and ability to play and explore their environment.. It's important to teach puppies bite inhibition and discourage excessive mouthing to ensure they grow up with appropriate behaviour around people and other animals. Bite inhibition is a dog's ability to control the pressure when mouthing an object and is an important behaviour. This skill helps them interact with objects, food, and other animals in a gentle and controlled manner. All dogs can learn bite inhibition. If you are having trouble with your dog's biting behaviour, let's start a conversation about it on 07557 301161. . . . #puppytraining #HappyDogs #bitework #dogtraining #doggies #dogtrainer #dog #trainer #habit #dog #trainingdog #dogtrainingtips #doggiestyle #dogtrainingadvice #dogtrainers #doggiesofinstagram #dogtrainingisfun #dogtraining101 #dogintraining #dogagilitytraining #dogobediencetraining #dogstraining #dogsintraining #dogtrainerintraining #dogfamily #dogslife #doglife #dogoftheday #puppylove

Dogs do have a sense of time, but it's not as precise or structured as that of humans. They don't perceive time in terms of hours, minutes, and seconds like we do, but they can still sense the passage of time based on routines, patterns, and environmental cues. For example, dogs often know when it's time for their meals, walks, or playtime based on the consistency of their daily schedule. They may also anticipate events like the arrival of their owners from work or other regular activities. However, their sense of time is more tied to immediate experiences and routines rather than a long-term understanding of past, present, and future like humans have. They live more in the present moment, reacting to what's happening around them rather than dwelling on past or future events. A great deal of a dog’s behaviour is governed by habit and repetition. While habit does seem to be the logical explanation, those habits may turn out to be the result of these surprising neurons that are “telling time” for animals. #ccc #dogslife #pethealth #dogsitter #petgrooming #dogdaycare #happydog #lovedogs #dogtips #ilovemydog #doggo #happydogs #dogmom #petstagram #dogcare #dogage #straydogs #doghealth #dogsofinstagram #dog #petcare #doglover #doglovers #healthydog #pets #dogstagram #doghealthtips #dognutrition #doghealthcare #dogshabits
