Around a 250000 years ago Dott was foraging for food and came across a cannabis plant. It smelled funny but Dott was know to munch on just about anything so she took a bite. It tasted like shit but unlike several other plants it had tried to consume, it didn’t make her feel sick. It made her feel good! The most knowledgeable amongst Dott’s tribe noticed a change in Dott and found out what was causing that change. She tried the plant too but decided to roast it in the fire a bit first. It seemed to bring out the flavor in other plants. The smell of roasting cannabis attracted others who were eager to taste the new food source Dott had discovered. Everyone got really high that night! The next day the entire tribe decided to make a permanent camp by where the plants were growing so they had a constant supply. Dott was so pleased with the plant that she wanted to have one by her dwelling. She tried and tried to transplant a plant but had little success pulling up a large plant and sticking it back in the soil close to her dwelling. But Dott was determined and she kept trying! The Elder once again noticed Dotts strange behavior and decided to take a close look. They both loved how the new plant made them feel so they chowed down on more cannabis and continued their new botanical project. Several years passed until one spring when the Elder noticed smaller plants starting to come up out of the ground after a good rainfall. The Elder was successful at transplanting a smaller plant and discovered that the seeds of the cannabis plant could be put in soil and watered and they would produce the plant they all cherished! It is very likely that cannabis was the first wild plant to be cultivated because the people who enjoy cannabis often are quite industrious! How about we stop all this money grubbing and restore the plant to its rightful place on this planet! There is no good reason that cannabis is illegal! There Is No SOP for Culture: My Journey with Cannabis From the curious corners of teenage gatherings to the lush landscapes of the Canary Islands, my relationship with cannabis has been nothing short of a remarkable journey. It all began in my youth, surrounded by friends and the intriguing haze of Moroccan hash. Those moments, enveloped in the camaraderie and clouds of smoke, ignited a passion that would eventually shape my professional and personal life. As years passed, my casual encounters with cannabis evolved into a profound appreciation for its quality and diversity. At 17, I started to distinguish and favor locally grown flowers and Morrocan creams, thanks to the expertise of local connoisseurs who introduced me to some of the best stuff crossing from the Gibraltar Strait. My curiosity led me across Europe, notably to the Netherlands, where I was astounded to find that our local offerings often surpassed the famed semi-legal Dutch coffeeshops. However, it was not until my travels to the US and my discovery of cannabis clubs that I fully embraced my identity as a grower. The Canary Islands, with their unparalleled conditions for cannabis cultivation, became my personal growing arena. Over the years, I initiated more than 50 outdoor crops, learning from every success and setback. Each harvest was an opportunity to connect with friends, old and new, through the simple yet profound act of sharing a joint. These experiences taught me that cannabis is more than just a plant; it's a powerful tool for social connection and cultural exchange. I've had the privilege of sharing our sub-tropical treasures with connoisseurs from around the globe, each encounter reinforcing the universal language of cannabis. This journey has led me to a profound realization: there is no standard operating procedure (SOP) for culture.
