"Use it to convert anti-can amigos"
We were thrilled to see Charlotte Kristensen DipWSET's lovely mention of our Verdejo in her article for You Magazine in Mail on Sunday, highlighting her top picks for picnics.
Whilst most of our amigos love nothing more than a good wine in can, we know there are some people out there that need a little more convincing. So look no further, and pour them a glass of this Rueda Verdejo. That should do the trick.
The timing couldn't be better, as our Verdejo will soon be making its way to many shelves across the country! Keep an eye out for when September rolls around ….

People who ask confidently get more than those who are hesitant and uncertain.

I'm graduating from Stanford University Graduate School of Business in just over a week. One thing I've learned is that, whenever we face a tradeoff, we should first ask ourselves "Is there a way I can have both?".
So I'm asking: "Is there a way women can have *both* good sex and a long-term relationship?" - let's find out.

Did you know that #CincodeMayo is a celebration of Mexico's victory over the French at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862?
Cool, huh?
But in the U.S., it's also a celebration of marketing genius. You see, in the 1980s, marketers started using the day to promote their brands, and it's turned into quite the money-maker, especially for those in the food and alcohol industries.
According to Flaviar, Cinco de Mayo has become one of the most important and biggest secular parties in the U.S.:
🍹 Amount of Tequila consumed: 126 million liters
🍻 Most Popular Beer: #Corona (#Modelo gets our vote!)
🤑 Total Beer Sales: $745 million
$745 Million?!? That's more than #SaintPatricksDay or the #SuperBowl!
Hut, hut, high-five! It’s a party and everyone’s invited. 🎉
So here’s a reminder to have fun and relax today. Spend quality time with family and friends, eat plenty of great food, and most importantly, be safe.
And if you're contributing to the #tequila or #Mexicanbeer marketing machine, pace yourself so that you can start the week feeling more “freshly squeezed” and less “Cinco de My Head Hurts.”
