Today is the Laba Festival (the eighth day of December in the lunar calendar). After this day, the New Year begins (meaning that the New Year atmosphere is getting stronger and stronger). Before the arrival of the Chinese New Year, the Year of the Dragon. As an international freight forwarder, my biggest wish is to pray for peace in the world. Peace is the greatest development dividend. In a world of peace, freight forwarders do not need to care about the Red Sea at this moment every day and Suez Transport at the next second. Not only are there concerns that the warring parties will suddenly close each other's airspace, but the cost of the detour will ultimately be borne by ordinary people. At the same time, I would like to share a screenshot of the views I shared on LinkedIn after the 2023 Spring Festival holiday. When the new covid-19's control measures were lifted at the end of December 2022 and everyone was full of imagination for 2023, I said that I was in the minority - cautiously optimistic. 2023 is over, and the results are indeed as unfortunate as I expected. With the Russia-Ukraine war raging, upstream and downstream foreign trade companies such as the logistics industry or drone companies will definitely make a lot of money, but prosperity based on war is too cruel.
