The powerful combination of SPECTRALIS TruTrack Active Eye Tracking, SHIFT technology, and non-invasive OCTA enables detailed imaging of fine capillary vessels. SPECTRALIS OCTA provides high-resolution images while the 125 kHz scan speed shortens the acquisition time of OCTA by up to 30% without any clinically relevant loss in image quality. It’s all about scan speed without sacrifice. One advantage of OCTA supporting the assessment of AMD is the ability to visualize the presence or absence of choroidal capillaries, which may aid in the differential diagnosis of GA and atrophy due to other diseases. 🤓 Can #Vero #AFM monitor the cantilever’s #torsional moment? You bet! 🥳 Here, I’m testing #stickslip #atomic #lattice imaging with #QPDI #interferometric detector on my demo Vero AFM. This is typically achieved in traditional optical beam detection (OBD) by monitoring the #lateral signal when the cantilever twists from #friction between the tip and sample. In OBD, the laser is located on the center of the short axis of the lever. Here, with the QPDI detector, we locate the laser on one side of the lever, where it is able to detect the lever’s vertical displacement when the cantilever twists. This is done on gypsum crystal in water at 20 Hz scan rate (playback 4x). Amazing how crisp the lattice images are, which appears from the very first image without much parameter tweaking. Try it! 😎 #OxfordInstruments #AsylumResearch #solutionsthroughinnovation #25yearsofexcellence 🥳🎂🎁🎉
